If there was only some way that a stadium could be labeled by, say, a section number that would be plainly visible. That way, especially for playing fields that are symmetric about two axes, "middle" would have more meaning.

I bet that would really help people know where they're sitting when they walk in too.

You see some weird stuff when you zoom in on the crowd. People missing heads, people's heads in sitting in other people's laps, see thru people, etc.

Now I'm going to go over to see the picture.

Here's the Gigapan. You tell it how many images you want it to shoot, vertically and horizontally (TFA said it was 28 wide x 13 high), then let it loose. It will automatically slew to each position, shoot, then slew to the next position, until the programmed movement is over. The software that comes with it then stitches all the images together, as best it can. These things work great for landscapes, but if your subject is moving, then expect some weirdness like missing heads.

I was going to laugh at it then I looked. Holy shiat I can see my old seats clearly in that pic. I can even see the stain from the guy behind me. That is amazing.
