I had some old 5+ inch floppies that worked like that.
But they were ascii porn.

I always thought it was me that had this problem because I thought there was always a right side up but I always failed to notice it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one.

At least it's not those old Dell computers where you put them at an angle under a flap blind.

Tip: the USB logo on the A-plug should always be face-up.

Anti-tip: OEMs often install the USB A-receptacles upside-down and/or sideways.
