If I was a psychologist I would do nothing but be an expert witness. You get paid well and you can work either side of a case depending on which side pays you more.

BUT WHERES THE MOUNTAIN DEW?!

The so-called "forensics experts" testifying about blood splatter patterns, gunshot residue, bite-mark analysis and those freaks that claim to be able to match a fired bullet to a specific weapon should all be forced to testify in costume... actually this type of psuudo-science CSI crap shouldn't even be allowed in a courtroom.

If it's a psychiatrist that's actually had the person they're talking about as a patient, i.e. they're giving the results of a court-ordered psychological examination that actually subjected the person to tests, then this is uncalled-for. That's their job, and they're following established standards and procedures.

If they're an "expert witness" with no actual knowledge of the case or the person whose sanity is being questioned, you might as well. Because if that's what they're doing, they're just a criminal profiler, and studies of profiler accuracy have shown it to lie somewhere between looking at your horoscopes and asking some random blue-collar guy at a bar.

Pfff, my rule usually is "if it isn't nailed down, and no one is watching, loot it" but that comes from playing Fallout for the last 15 years or so. Out in the real world, I have to modify that rule with "and I can carry it reasonably".

/A lot of times that leads to just taking pictures, and cracking open the odd rock to see if it has a candy center.

Agh, It's all about the integrity of the shot... See of I start moving stuff around to "make a better shot" Im pretty much farking with my own ability to make something bland into something awesome ;)
