the original unedited trilogy was put out on dvd with the special edition dvd's a few years ago. they are non-anamorphic prints ripped from the laserdisc releases. they look ok. alternately look for a_digital_man's star wars dvds online or ADAWAN's. those are almost perfect restorations of the original trilogy.

This is actually good advice. The sugar and monkeys will make the kid forget he wants to see the movie. As a bonus, I'm sure any sane person would rather endure the sugar-addled child and monkeys flinging a cake/poo mixture about the house than see The Phantom Menace.

That was terrible, but I did still lol slightly.

Liked the digital improvement to Empire back in the 90s. The asteroids finally stopped looking like big pieces of styrofoam. Yes, I understand that in reality that's exactly what they were, but they really hurt what was otherwise one of the most amazing scenes of all time.

That was pretty cool but I just can't get in to that style of metal. i KNOW its talented but It gets lost in a sea of distortion. Plus I hate deep growls exclusively. Rather hear screaming like Lamb of God, God Forbid, or Meshuggah.
