(Some BMX Guy with rocks in his head) Spiffy Behold The first 720-double-tailwhip. Well, I'd call it a 675-double-tailwhip, but you get the idea   (vitalbmx.com) divider line 28

I could do that, but I don't want to, because it would be showing off, and that's not the way I am.

I was into freestyle BMX back in the early days - 1988 or so. Even then, the tricks were really tough to pull off.

These days...it must be incredibly disheartening to be a beginner. You basically have NO HOPE of ever doing any of the really cool stuff unless you dedicate your life to it.

Skateboarders have it even worse.

/awesome trick, by the way

Pshaw, watch the slow motion part and you'll see that all the tail whips happen in the first 360. Trick would be better if he timed it so that the tailwhips spanned the entire 720. Or 675. What a pussy.

Oh true that. I was getting into it when I was a kid in the early 90s and the stuff they did back then was insane. Fast forward to now, and the best stuff of the 90s is stuff that everyone under 17 seems to do now without breaking a sweat. It's farking ridiculous.

Mullen was/is a freak, to be sure. But skateboarding is still more advanced by a long shot.

That's the way I'd do it if I felt like doing it, which I don't, but maybe if I'm bored this weekend I'll do it that way. Whatever.

After starting college and putting my board away for a while, the H-street videos blew my mind so much that I picked it back up. It still holds up, and I've even seen some young-uns trying out No complys lately. But you're right, more advanced by a great deal.

So he thinks he's reached his peak and his career is dead/over. Why else would you throw away your bike?
It reminds me of Musashi claiming his opponent already lost a sword fight when he threw away his scabbard, because only someone who has lost the fight in their mind would do that.

/all down hill kid
//smooth up the landing and I'll really be impressed (I kid)
