Wow. That's pretty impressive. I didn't know the show was still on the air.

Watching it condensed down to two minutes, with the commercials, the time-wasting dramatic musical interludes, and the artificial suspense-building all removed is fantastic. I wish all game shows were like this. I really hate watching 5 minutes of show packed into a 30-minute time slot.

"All right, Moe Szyslak"!
"Yes, Virgil"?
"Yesterday, we asked if you wanted to risk it all for 500,000 dollars, and you stalled for twenty minutes".

"Yes, yes, I did. I was told to".

"Hey, that's great. But now, we must have your answer in the next ten or fifteen minutes".

The only answer I knew was Desi Arnaz. Did this show get harder?

That's the one I didn't know. You've never heard of a geoduck or a styptic pencil?

Canada and this country border the USA.
A) Singapore
B) Italy
C) England
D) Mexico

"Well, I went to Italy after my freshman year and that was in Europe and I know the US is not part of Europe and the Pacific is between Italy and the US. England used to kind of own the US, or the confederacy states before we won the 1st world war, but they are also overseas, unless the still own some tiny chunk of Canada that can be considered bordering the US. I've never heard of Singapore. I know in Mexico they speak Spanish, but that doesn't mean they are part of Spain. I seem to remember that they are in Central America or South America, so that could be a trick answer. Wait, shouldn't Central America be one of the answers?"

They all give long winded responses before they answer. Either to prove to everyone that they really know and they're not guessing, or because the producers promise an extra few grand to stretch it out as long as possible. In either case, they sound all the more stupid.

Well, you know. Some friends and I used to watch this show called "who wants to be a millionaire". However after 3 or 4 episodes, I stopped watching it,. Why? because it had all these douche's giving douchey answers.. so Douchey answers, final answer.

See, I'm the other way around. I'd never heard of a geoduck (I guess I don't go to authentic enough Asian-style restaurants), but a styptic pencil was always around the house growing up.

spiderfishx: geoduck

I hate the correct pronunciation of geoduck. It's English at its absolute dumb-fark worst. Spell it or say it, don't do both.
