Please please please let there be a brokered GOP convention. For the lulz.

Santorum Surge? Is that a flavor they never released?

Colorado? Nah.

Minnesota? Quite possibly.

It's lulzy watching the GOP voters circle back again and again to Santorum as their potential Not Romney candidate. They're all bad of course, but watching them pick Santorum as their flavor of the month for the umpteenth time just underscores how dire their current predicament truly is.

culebra: Colorado? Nah.

Minnesota? Quite possibly.

Why do you think I went with the unlikely tag? I knew it wasn't impossible in Minnesota, but I couldn't see him doing that good in Colorado.

/Granted TFA talked about money coming in, so headline doesn't match the article, but hey, welcome to Fark and all that.

Looks like they're calling the Missouri primary tomorrow a 'beauty contest'.

"Because of a mix of party decree and legislative inaction, taxpayers will foot the bill for a statewide election that will be officially meaningless for Republicans and virtually irrelevant for Democrats."

Also, the only one bothering to campaign is Santorum, since Gingrich isn't even on the ballot.

I'm wondering if the new polls showing Obama wiping the floor with Romney is giving new life to Santorum (shudders) and Gingrich. The only reason people ever seemed interested in Romney is because he convinced them he could beat Obama. If you're going to lose, why lose AND give up your "principles"?

* Note to self. Stay the fark away from Minnesota or Colorado. Here there be crazy.

Got a "Meet Santorum" flyer in the mail yesterday, in Missouri.

I declined.

I thought to burn it, but then I simply recycled it, assuming that'd make him more mad.

dumbobruni: a Santorum win in Minnesota would be such a fark you to Pawlenty.

hahahahahaha

Pawlenty quit too soon. If he'd have soldiered on, he'd be the main beneficiary right now of conservative discontent with Rmoney.

So the Base is planning on ping-ponging between Santorum and Gingrich until August?

Ew, is that like a frothy avalanche tearing down a mountain?

Did a milkshake factory explode? No son, that's, uh, dear god.
