Women are the 2nd most common form of human, so it all evens out

No obvious birth defect, a whopping 8 lbs 8 oz, my daughter is doing just fine.

Of course, I spent the majority of my pregnancy in South Korea and Italy, so I guess it doesn't count.

The local kids vary, but it's around 5lbs to 7lbs.

Maybe the effects are seasonal?

But there are more females than males in the United States (it's reverse worldwide) so for the purpose of this article/headline, women are 1st.

We don't regulate things in order to protect the public's health in America.

We regulate things to protect the financial health of whoever pays the most money.

Unless enough people get enough cancer that they can prove something. The house always wins!

Monsanto has an auditorium named after them here on campus, so I'm getting a real kick...

Monsanto didn't invent agent orange. The army invented it. Some doofus mixed the two separate (and individually very benign) herbicides (2-4-D & 2-4-5-T) together with the thinking that "If one is good, two'll be more better!" They then told monsanto to make it or they lose all gov't contracts.

It also helps that we don't selectively abort female children in the United States... or that we don't kill them for the sake of family honor or whatever... or that mostly their vaginas are not clown cars, for the most part.

My Dad was the kind of guy who thought DDT was awesome stuff. "Great bug killer" he said, "but you have to hold your breath if the wind blows some your way and don't go out in the field for awhile". Yeah...even he thought atrazine was dangerous. "It never goes away".

Well anyway, hi there folks. You know I'd been having trouble with velvet leaf, uh cutworm and uh foxtail and well that's when the representative from Monsanto came out to my farm. He recommended a pre-emergent, inferral mixture of Lorsban with Atrazine in a tank mix and I told him to get off my land.

i bet its the number 1 cause of the obesity/diabetes epidemic as well

i have a strong feeling that every human on this planet has been poisoned just to see what it does.

im telling you some entity is treating humans like lab rats.

I think the worry would be less about the people and more about the wildlife, specifically mammalian wildlife. We'd rather not have too many mutant two-headed deer or whatever running about. Human-consumable water is treated, though, so yeah, don't drink the runoff by the fields and you'll be fine... kind of something you should have figured out anyway, one would think.

Which leaves the military as the last real disproportionate life-span adjuster, and it's mostly male. So there you go. Basically no major causes of death for women that don't also affect men, several causes of death for men that don't effect women (as much). Not exactly a puzzler, no.

Whether atrazine is an endocrine disruptor at 3 ppb is apparently not a closed issue.

Its worth remembering that while the company has a lot of money riding on proving that Hayes research is flawed, its still possible that Hayes research may not be reproducible by other scientists at the lowest concentrations, in which case the epa position may be justified.

There are still plenty of people brimming with outrage that DDT was banned.

The human race's slow-motion suicide continues.

Bet all the effected babies weren't circumcised. That has a 60% chance of the babies being better protected from unhealthey things.

Humans are doing fine. We're living longer, healthier and there are more of us than ever. Unlike during 99% of human existence, there is a damn fine chance your children won't starve or be killed by an infectious disease.

No, you see. It is a CHEMICAL. Therefore not natural, hence EVIL.

FTA: Atrazine is an herbicide marketed by agribusiness company Syngenta. It has been shown to "chemically castrate" frogs, turning males into females that are capable of rearing offspring
