I find behind, you?

I think it's pretty foregone that FIAT will win the Fark vote.

I hate to admit it but... the M&M spot was perhaps the only acceptable use of that annoying LMFAO song.

2012-02-06 11:57:28 AM
The Coke polar bears were awful.

Homer Nixon: I think it's pretty foregone that FIAT will win the Fark vote.

yeah, I liked the Fiat commercial, even before I knew it was for Fiats.

2012-02-06 11:58:16 AM
The only one I really liked were the dogs barking the Imperial March. Especially the AT-AT at the end.

2012-02-06 11:58:51 AM
I'm so lowest common denominator. My favorites were the Doritos with the "you didn't see nuthin" dog, and the evolution of the NFL one where the yard lines were decades.

No joke.

Now, have GIFs of the gyrating red M&M hit the webs yet?

Who was the woman in the Fiat commercial?

2012-02-06 11:59:12 AM
The Doritos "cat-killing running dog" commercial? Yeah, that was as funny as a rubber crutch, unless you're a knuckle-dragging member of the lowest common denominator.

2012-02-06 11:59:33 AM
That Bud Light commercial with the dog was pretty good, but the rest of Budweiser's commercials sucked more than a homeless Las Vegas hooker.

2012-02-06 11:59:58 AM
Samsung I Believe In A Thing Called Love won it for me.

Overall underwhelming assortment this year.

2012-02-06 12:01:06 PM
I liked the one with that elderly transvestite dancing around. Not sure what it was for, though.

2012-02-06 12:01:28 PM
BTW, I saw the Battleship commercial for the first time and thought, WTF. How did they make a game about "G-5, HIT! You sank my Battleship!" into alien invaders?!?! ANd with Liam Neeson?

I still have a stiffy from that one.

anyone seen my crutches?

I didn't even so much as crack a smile at any of the commercials. They were all pretty stupid.

2012-02-06 12:09:26 PM
I liked the trailer for the sequel to "Gran Torino" that Clint Eastwood narrated.

2012-02-06 12:09:36 PM
What about the Chevy commerical about the 2012 apocalypse? I thought I saw an asteroid, a flying saucer, a giant robot? and finally raining frogs. Did I miss anything else in that commercial?

/not sure about the giant robot

Who was the woman in the Fiat commercial?

Catrinel Menghia

yes... who was the girl in the fiat commercial... and do we have pictures yet,

//instant girl crush

H31N0US: I didn't even so much as crack a smile at any of the commercials. They were all pretty stupid.

If you don't live in Michigan, you missed the worst super bowl commercial ever (Youtube.

The leading candidate "Pete Spend It Not" spent a million dollars to tell us he is a fiscal conservative, xenophobic, and a bunch of other things. It is kind of fun watching the state's GOP establishment desperately trying to dissociate with him this morning.

/yes he spent 1 million to buy statewide local airtime during a commercial break

2012-02-06 12:12:09 PM
The bud lite dog one was stupid.

Is that it? He just gets beers for people? What's the punchline this should be g-.... oh, a keg.
I get it.

None of these were particularly "super bowl-ish" IMHO. Probably the weakest I've ever seen to be honest.

2012-02-06 12:12:15 PM
Romanians.. is there anything they can't do? Besides set up a stable country.

2012-02-06 12:13:29 PM
The GoDaddy ones were embarrassing, and made me sad for anyone lonely, desperate and dumb enough to go "see more". The GE/Budweiser one reminded me I am surrounded by idiots. But that's what I get for being hungover and thinking I'd participate in the Super Bowl thing.

Not quite small enough for Fark.

I expect 4chan to provide a usable gif within the week.

Anyone who "watched the Super Bowl for the commercials" is a bad person and should feel bad. YOU are the problem

Which problem is what? This makes no sense.

They're the problem the NFL makes a lot of money?

If I ever uttered the phrase 'my favorite commercial', I'd really want someone to choke me, because that's what you do to complete losers.

As the owner of a Great Dane, I really liked that one. I replayed it as a warning to the cat who always annoys my poor dog.

2012-02-06 12:24:57 PM
I liked the M&M one the best.

The fiat one and the doritos one with the missing cat were also good.

Serious Black: That Bud Light commercial with the dog was pretty good

Ugh, I hate that commercial. "Look--not only are they man's best friend but you can train them to be beer-retrieval slaves for you and your douche friends!"

Really? I thought Doritos and Bud commercials were especially terrible.

I thought the Hyundai cheetah and the Cars.com singing head one were funny. That's about it.

Fiat wins because it's the only one that had a metaphor for semen shooting onto a woman's chest.

/money shot FTW!

It amazes me that people actually watch this boring, mind-numbing shiat voluntarily, and treat it like some important cultural event.

2012-02-06 12:27:43 PM
The CareerBuilder commercial blew big time. The monkeys were funny a few years back, but rehashing it now? Really?
