I love this meme for this very reason.

She sounds butthurt. Way to go Tom.

Whoever made the calls to switch from the short passes to long ones on that drive is to blame. Either Brady or the OC quit doing what was working and went for what they perceived as glory.

Well, I saw some of the dogs do it on Puppy Bowl.

So she called out Welker and Gronkowski? Tom will sure be popular with his team this week.

Diogenes: Well, I saw some of the dogs do it on Puppy Bowl.

The Puppy Bowl's half time show was vastly more entertaining than the Super Bowl's.

And no kitten lip syncing!

I don't think I've seen the Patriots have that bad of a coaching scheme since the Rod Rust era.

if they're professionals, they will accept the criticism. his job is to put it in their hands and a few of those drops were inexcusable.

I think I would have been more critical to Dion Branch and Hernandez than Welker.

7 passes to both for 2 completions.

Welker and Gronkowski weren't even thrown to on the final drive.

Manning does not own Brady. How one plays doesn't affect how the other plays.

The Giants' defense, on the other hand......

I think its interesting that the picture they pick to splash all over the news sites about this article is just about the most unflattering picture I have ever seen of her, very "crone-like". And on top of it it looks like she's giving him an "ear full". Haters gonna hate.

I'm sure he's terribly concerned as it will be at least 4 months until any of them meet face-to-face again.

Look at that, a wife defending (and in this case, correctly) her husband.

Headline news, no question.

JusticeandIndependence: Welker and Gronkowski weren't even thrown to on the final drive.

Early in the last drive, Welker got turned around on a pass & muffed it...he had both hands on it.

She'd be right subby.

Let's be fair though. Welker dropped a pass in his hands AND Belichick cost them a timeout.

He got turned around because it was thrown behind him.

fatalvenom: Soon he was ushered into a hallway, off to where the podium waited. He went through a side exit, not the main one where his wife, Gisele Bundchen, the Brazilian supermodel, had been waiting.

She heard he'd gotten past her and began sprinting - in black boots with three-inch heels - after him. He was 30 yards ahead of her.

"Tommy," she shouted. "Tommy! Tommy!"

He didn't hear her. (new window)

Awwwww, poor guy.

Brady tried to throw back shoulder on the pass to Welker but put it a little high (couldn't throw that inside because there was a defender closing). Welker should have caught the ball.

20% Brady's fault, 80% Welker's.

Brady needs to keep his wife under control regarding statements about football.

I'm not sure which perspective is more awesome...

Brady pouting and then being pestered by bubbily Katy Perry or Katy Perry being snubbed by Brady. Sooo much win.

It was a statement made to a small group of people that happened to be overheard by some dumbfark recording it. Folks need to untwist their panties about anyone voicing an opinion, and treating it as something newsworthy.

Nope that was the drive before the Giants scored. Not the final drive.

New England Patriots at 0:57 NYG NWE
1st and 10 at NE 20 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass incomplete deep middle to D.Branch (K.Phillips).
2nd and 10 at NE 20 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass incomplete short right to A.Hernandez [O.Umenyiora].
3rd and 10 at NE 20 (Shotgun) T.Brady sacked at NE 14 for -6 yards (J.Tuck).
Timeout #3 by NE at 00:36.
4th and 16 at NE 14 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass deep left to D.Branch pushed ob at NE 33 for 19 yards (C.Webster).
1st and 10 at NE 33 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass short left to A.Hernandez to NE 44 for 11 yards (A.Rolle).
1st and 10 at NE 44 T.Brady spiked the ball to stop the clock.
2nd and 10 at NE 44 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass incomplete deep right to A.Hernandez. PENALTY on NYG-J.Tuck, Defensive 12 On-field, 5 yards, enforced at NE 44 - No Play.
2nd and 5 at NE 49 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass incomplete short left to D.Branch.
3rd and 5 at NE 49 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass incomplete deep middle to A.Hernandez (K.Phillips).
End of Game

You are thinking of his drop on the drive before.
2nd and 11 at NYG 44 (Shotgun) T.Brady pass incomplete deep left to W.Welker.
They punted after another incomplete pass to Branch, the Giants scored on their final drive.

Wait, there was something "working"? The Patriots didn't score since 11+ minutes to go in the 3rd. Not much was "working".

Tom Brady is a fierce competitor, and should be respected by everyone, including Giants fans like myself. He wasn't pouting, he was just as upset as anyone else would be after losing the biggest game of the year. I wish him the best, I think he's a great player and an even better person.

Katy Perry can go fark herself. Really? Tom is going to talk to you with Giselle right next to him after a Super Bowl loss? You idiot.....

well, he has been having sex with Giselle for a number of years. Presumably he has never had sex with Katy Perry. Even if we can say Giselle is objectively hotter... You're a guy, you know how it goes.

Wait, Brady "couldn't throw theat inside because there was a defender closing", is 20% his fault? Making the right throw is "his fault"? Welker admits he makes that catch every time, except when it matters most. I think he took the 100% of the blame for the drop, like a man who knows he made a mistake.

That and Katy Perry is now on a mission from God to fark every starting quarterback in the NFL.

I respect the hell out of him and he absolutely rightfully was upset. Pouting may have been a bad word. Sulking, I guess would have been better. Either way, I enjoy seeing him hasing a sad. Hell of a player though.

Yeah but I doubt he would be stupid enough to do it in front of his wife. From what I have heard, his wife wears the pants in the family. She even made him get hair loss treatment, lol.

Where Brady screwed up was that safety. Erase that mistake and we have a very different ending. May not have been a win, but it would have been different.
