So what I take away from this article is that someone is getting paid to play with one of these (new window) all day?

Where do I sign up?

My favorite multiball on any pinball machine was the 13 ball multiball on Apollo 13. Only got it once. If I ever start making money again I want to get it.

Throw the ball, but do not kick the ball. Remember, Hutts don't have feet.

So, while the subject is up, can any Farkers offer opinions/advice regarding Visual Pinball and Future Pinball, or something else - what is the best way to go about setting up a nice wee pinball collection on my PC?

Go here, grasshopper (new window), and build a collection quite nice and much larger than "wee".

/1,100 tables in my VP/FP setup
//In his first tournament my son placed 2nd at the 2011 Chicago Pinball Expo juniors tournament, beating the world champ in the semis in 2 straight and losing by a shade in the third of three games in the finals to the world runner-up
///Couldn't have happened without VP and FP

You earn bonus points for being a fellow Commodore 64 traveller!

/Started with a Vic-20, went on to the 64 and then the Amiga 2000HD--those were heady days indeed!

Certainly You Jest: Go here, grasshopper (new window), and build a collection quite nice and much larger than "wee".

Cheers mate. Bookmarked and breaking the seal on my new hard drive now.

/borrowed Vic20 to my own C64 then an Amiga 500 myself..loved them all. And when the question comes up of Mac v. PC I answer that either way I'm on alien grounds as it isn't Amiga.

Of the two, I'd say the Commodore lineage is closer to the Mac, but I remember scoffing at the Macs (and PCs) at UNC-Chapel Hill computer labs that were so inferior to my beloved Amiga.

Best of luck getting started with VP and FP! I'll send you an EIP so I can provide further assistance if need be. You'll be very pleased with the results once you get it up and running. Definitely grab all of the tables by "JPSalas"--I think he's the best table author out there.

Bonus--there are remakes of those classic Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies Amiga tables available for FP!

it's not a real pinball machine (but then again what is) but does a decent job replicating them
