That headline would have been pretty hot 35 years ago.

Actually on the last episode, before he moved out Jack told Furley that he was "cured" and Furley congratulated him. Even hugged him.

/wow, they sure couldn't run that episode today

Suzanne Somers best role: getting machine-gunned by a rogue cop while topless in a mafioso's pool in "Magnum Force".

Why is there a picture of Rocky Dennis in that article?

gopher321: Suzanne Somers

Christ I hate that ding dong biatch. She makes Jenny McCarthy look rational and sane.

The Why Not Guy: DId you ever think you'd live in a world where Joyce DeWitt is hotter than Suzanne Somers? I sure didn't.

Not when I watched it as a kid because I was like 8 and even though I knew I liked girls, Chrissy was the big boobed blonde who was supposed to be the hot one so I just agreed with that. But now I'd probably go with Janet.

/wow, girls are so much hotter on sitcoms now

Just like Jan Smithers as Bailey Quarters on WKRP in Cincinnati. Loni Anderson was the obvious blonde bombshell eye-candy, but Bailey did it for me back then.

I like the excuse that it was just because she needed money and was business.

By all accounts she was a royal biatch prima dona before the contract dispute. And I think their handling of her behavior was even better that when the Simpsons killed of Maude Flanders.

Janet always had the coolest football jerseys. I was on Cloud Nine when my mom got me a red football jersey as a nightgown. Chrissy was too stupid for words (but it helped to know that Suzanne wasn't stupid in real life, when I found that out); Janet was too cool for words. And then I found out Suzanne was cooler than Janet in real life :( Oh well.

Great show. thanks for the photo.

The same could go for the two sisters on too close for comfort... what was it about busty blondes and brainy brunettes back in the late 70s, early 80s?

ExperianScaresCthulhu: Chrissy was too stupid for words

I only saw the show in reruns but I think in the first season Chrissy was a plain looking girl who wasn't stupid at all. Then I guess during the Furley years they gave her a blond wig and apparently her character suffered some sort of brain damage.

And she was William Shatner (playing himself)'s love interest in the movie "Free Enterprise" (sort of "Swingers" with geeks).

Was it Chrissy or her cousin? They tried to recast the role with an even stupider character who had bigger hair. I had to look her name up on wiki, and it was Cindy Snow.

Yeah, Cindy came in after Chrissy left but within Chrissy's character, she didn't get really stupid until later in her run.

Before I tell you to git off my lawn....I remember when Threes Company actually started on ABC. There was such a furor raised because of the "skimpy" (haha) clothes and 2 women living w a man. Tame by today's standards....but "I'll be in my bunk" for that era

The first season Janet was actually just as hot as Chrissy (those football jerseys as nightgowns....oh yeah)....but Janet got that butchie hairdo and just lost it for me. Actually, the one really hot was Cindy Snow (Jennilee Harrison)...ditzy but very adorable. She ended up on Dallas after 3sC

Didn't realize when 3sC started, Suzanne Somers was already in her 30's and had a kid who was older than I was. Bummer she went and got a face lift recently, she was still looking quite well naturally just a few short yrs ago...she really did not need any work done

If you Goggle for it, you'll see that Pricilla Barnes was also in Penthouse back in the day, she just used a different name. Its one of those "tasteful" late -70's Penthouse layouts -- bush only, not more exposed.

The two actresses had not spoken since Somers left the sitcom in 1981 over a salary dispute.

So two petty assholes decided in their 60's to stop being petty in a desperate plea for publicity and attention.

Heart warming.
