A cool guy and a very cool guitar, I want one!

And Madonna has promised - no wadrobe malfunctions.

Monte said he's bringing both guitars in case he breaks a string. It happened in the vid. He is really jazzed about this guitar, you could tell just talking to him. A wardrobe malfunction timed right would give him time to swap out if he had to.

i love Monte and his flying circus

Good stuff and not priced too bad for what you get.

Jarrell's cases rock and they throw in a gig bag and straplocks standard.
I really want one. Great session axe. The only one you'd need to pack.

Me and Monte used to party together back in the 60's

I was hoping to jam with him at NAMM but he was swamped and I missed him at the booth. Nice guy, great with the fans and he's kicking Jarrell's ass. They love him!

I talked to him and did shots at the bar after a show at Jaxx in Northern Virginia when he was playing bass for Prong. Good guy, didn't know that he was still playing guitar for Madonna. He said he got that gig after giving Madonna guitar lessons. Just wish he was playing the Super Bowl with Prong instead.

That would be a rude awakening for middle america but that would be cool.

I definitely don't beg to differ. It would take the halftime show out of this misery.

"Practically," subby? So I guess it's done anal then...

It's gonna be fun to watch those guys play with the leather bag. And there's a football game too!

Prong is the best thing Monte ever did. New album in April! (no Monte though)

well there we go. Could you pick it out of the mix? I thought they did just great. What any of that has to do with football is beyond me.

Good to see Monte made it to the stadium. I thought maybe he missed the bus because I couldn't hear any guitar in the halftime show...

that mix was, shall we say, not easy and really bad on my TV. I was hoping for a screaming Prong solo in the middle!

And that's why choosy guitarists choose Jiff!

What do you call the guitar equivalent of lip-syncing? Pick-syncing?

I was watching the halftime show to see Pittman. I didn't see him at all. Was he even THERE?

This year is no exception with the addition of Legendary Rock God, Monte Pittman, to their impressive artist line-up.

This has got to be a joke.

spontn80: well there we go. Could you pick it out of the mix? I thought they did just great. What any of that has to do with football is beyond me.

It was in the backing track, right along with everything else you heard.

yea, you know I actually talked to the guy. They played. You may not have heard what they played but they played. When done right the backtracks are for large crowd support and not meant to take the place of the musicians. It is "under" the musicians. Also some of what you see as lipsync issues is often stadium sound on a zoomed in camera. I'm not saying that there is no use of backtracks, what I am saying is they played, they played their hearts out. The show you saw on TV was not the show they played. Does that make any sense? Just like the game, when zoomed in you can't even see all the players, a totally different game on TV as on the field. I'm sure they used a track or two but the played you can take that to the bank. I'm not a huge fan of football or Madonna, frankly, I couldn't give less of a shiat. I have no idea why I'm defending them. By the way, do you think you could do all that aerobics and jumping up and down and sing every line perfectly? In heels? yea... STFU they did great, tracks or no tracks. That show was a huge endeavor that took hundreds of people to make it happen. What it had to do with football I have no idea. I do think it was the best show in a long time... maybe since Prince.

PYROY: This has got to be a joke.

He may not be my favorite guitar player but he did just play at the super bowl with a signature guitar for one of the biggest stars on the planet... how's your career working out?
