Either the fix is in or they're optimists in the extreme.

I'm still saying Giants by 7, though. When I'm right later you can all congratulate me on my prescience.

No matter who wins, tomorrow there's gonna be a bunch of Third World kids who'll be wearing shirts declaring today's loser as Super Bowl champs.

I guess that cancels out the jinx created by Comcast Sports Network airing a Dick's Sporting Goods TV ad for Patriots Super Bowl Championship. Universe corrects itself, game should be good.

I know this isn't "The Thread" yet, but I am at work all night and most TV websites and all sports sites are blocked. I can't get NBC, ESPN or anything even close. Does anybody know of any sites that may be streaming the game? I only get three "Big Red Hands" (blocked sites) and then my internet is locked. I then have to call IT to have it reset (that isn't good).

/any help?

Say what you will but I bet the Buffalo Bills have a lot of 30 year old fans in the Third World

Yeah this type of thing happens nearly every year when the site developers finish what they may post if they win. Why does anyone care when this kind of slip happens?

That doesn't make any sense...there's a promotional caveat printed right across the front of it. "Only to be published in the event of a win."

You should have been watching ESPN First Take. They were doubling down on the derp. Skip Bayless was acting like this is the Giants being overconfident instead of somebody forgetting to hide the URL.

joepainter: This proves NFL is fixed.

Yep, totally fixed. They put grease on the gloves of the patriots' receivers between the 3rd and 4th quarters, and used their secret telepathy to make Brady throw that interception to a defensive lineman. Never mind the fact that the only questionable penalty call (and one non-call) went against the Giants, that was just for show. Totally fixed, just like wrestling, and this game was undeniable proof of that.

Not really a troll. They won when they cheated. They haven't won since. Not totally detracting here--Belichick can coach and the team executes well. But I'm beginning to suspect they're less like the 80s 49ers and more like the 90s Buffalo Bills.

Yet they're still in the Super Bowl over 15 other teams. Twice since the incident. I think we're past thinking that cheating was the only way.
