Tom Brady is a professional, and a pretty decent guy to boot. We like him here in Beantown.

Not a bad choice, considering Eli looks like a bumbling, goofy teenager, i.e. Luke Skywalker.

Unless they've been doing this all year, I don't understand why teams/coaches/whatever do shiat like this. If they win, that just perpetuates the myth that unnecessary restrictions make you win the big game and if they lose, shiat like this looks more retarded. You need to get in the other team's head and everyone shiatting the same color and on the same schedule isn't how you do that.

Psst, the joke is that sports-wear manufacturers always have to print up for both sides, even though one side will surely lose.

The shirts that belong to the losers? The manufacturers take a tax writeoff by donating it to third world countries.

In this years Chowder Bowl, im hoping for red, but i think white will win.

Why are they making players eat low carb right before the big game? They want players low on glucose?

"I'd like to catch that pass I just don't have the energy"

yeah I kinda feel the same. Should be a good game, but I despise both teams. I guess hearing every talking head pick the Giants all week has me pulling for the Pats. That, and the game needs an evil empire to be relevant again so... go, Tom.
I guess

Hmmm... I've heard nothing but "Giants have a pass-rush and the Patriots have no secondary how do you stop Eli when he's on a streak if you have no d backs the Pats running game is inferior they will rattle Brady and Gronk will be limited i'm taking the Giants..." pretty much all week.
Got no dog in this hunt though, so I hope it's just a good game.

/and that my friend's girl Kim doesn't constantly scream "shut up the commercials are on" like she did last year

I can see them not wanting to re-enact airplane the movie. Though they did serve fish. Still by bringing in their own chefs they can ensure the quality and make sure nobody gets food poisoning.

Pretty sure there are lots of people out there that would love to serve the patriots players "bad" food. Anyone from a disgruntled giants (or colts) fan to those involved in organized crime/sports betting. It'd be a great way to "fix" a game.

There's been plenty of that and also plenty of "but it's Brady and Belichick and they'll find a way because they're awesome" stuff going around. Not a fan of either team myself, I've just heard both in basically equal measure.

When you think about it, given the amount of time, effort and money the teams spend on the physical conditioning of the players, it would make absolutely no sense to allow them to go home after practice and chow down on Twinkies and Beefaroni.

The article mentions "team cooks". They also have team nutritionists: article (new window)
