..take the local commentators. Just..trust me on this one.

The two British channels showing it will have the US TV commentators for the game (NFL Network for the BBC and the standard TV ones for Sky), but their own in-studio stuff. BBC wins out over Sky due to no adverts and Mike Carlson who is stuck with us because he doesn't have a fake laugh and knows what he's talking about. Also, he went to college with Bill Belichick so actually gets half decent interviews from him.

rickythepenguin: you know who she is, even if you don't. she was on Will and Grace, she was Jenni Blacnk on strangers with candy, she's popped up on various bit spots in comedy shows/movies, and she's been on all the talk shows.

She was also James Caan's secretary in Elf. That might be a higher-profile role, sad as that is.

my favorite NFL hypocrisy moment was the super bowl season arizona had....circa week 3-4, one of our guys tackled the Bills QB, he had to leave the game. arizona guy was later fined -- adrian wilson? -- anyways, he was fined like, $50,000 for a repeat offender penalty.

cut to the thanksgiving night game vs philly. Guess what hit was in the pregame montage?

Nice standards, NFL. Fine the guy for the hit, 2 months later use the exact hit to hype the game.

I cannot believe that those two things are even remotely related.

Probably not, but it's a great visual.

I can't stream it with the commercials either, however it does give a little button to watch the commercials shortly after they air. If you time it right you can probably watch each commercial during the next commercial break. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
