I haven't had aqvavit in years

The local liquor store special orders the Gilde (Norwegian) Linie Akvavit for me. A couple people I made friends with at the Nordic festival and I get giddy with excitement and we buy the whole case. Then we tell them to order more. It can take a while to get here.

Some of the BevMo stores carry Aaborg (Danish) Linie Akvavit, but you have to jump right in there the minute it comes in because it sells out fast. I don't think they order much of it at a time.
