I give to stand up edge to Roy. Werdum is a Brazillian Zhyou Zhyitzu guy all the way. If he doesn't get the takedown he'll just lay on his back like he wants his diaper changed. Roy would be dumb to anything but walk away and make the ref force a stand up. Roy has a damn good chin too.

Nelson has the advantage of punching well along with having a great chin. I've never seen him stay down because that belly keeps people off balance.

They are both very good bjj bbs indeed, but saying that about Werdum is a total understatement. Werdum is one of the very top grapplers in the World p4p; winning the ADCC several times as well as making it to the finals.

UFC threads have just started getting greened consistently and been getting more and more comments every time. If there's a major UFC event there's good odds there'll be a thread of it on fark from now on.

Ha, I hope so, the only downside for growth is that you will get a lot of new fans, some of them will lern the sport and be smart about, but the problem is the ones who don't and farked it up for everybody else. ON the good sid eyou have new great fans and more money, more athletes coming to it so a much deeper talent pool (I personally think it would not get that bigger a many think)

Good to know, and i should rephrase that. Condit is the only guy in recent memory i thought might beat GSP. When GSP was starting out every match was questionable, but now that i've seen enough of him i didn't even think Machida had much of a chance.

Diaz seems to just overwhelm people with punches for an inhuman length of time, but Condit is a very impressive striker with good instincts. If he's smart he'll wait until the later rounds when Diaz is carelessly throwing punches, and sneak something in that just lays him flat. Hopefully that flying knee. If he tries to stand and throw with Diaz from the start i'll be impressed, but Diaz will surely beat him with endurance.
