If I owned a Segway, I'd signup for this.

I'm trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon this year so I'm getting a kick out of this post...

I wonder at what milestone the vomit is deepest. I am betting about 0.5 miles.

I don't understand... At least it's for a good cause.

star_topology: I don't understand... At least it's for a good cause.

It started as kind of a gag fundraiser by some students at Moo U (NC State), and has grown into a pretty big thing that lots of people take part in.

They should just end the run in front of Peace. What better place to see a bunch of State guys ralphing than all over the fountain?

Sweet pun! This run sounds great - and when you puke, the aftertaste will be delicious!! I wish this run was also in Los Angeles. I might try to vomit on a movie star.

Forget that, I'd rather do the beer mile.

The year I ran the Bay to Breakers in SF they were giving donuts out. at the bottom of the long hill. I had a couple - they were lovely - but can't imagine doing 12.

I absolutely hate the KK Challenge. At least I moved though so my car is no longer parked in the barf zone, it's just in the "held hostage until the damned thing is over" zone.

"Waaaaaaah! I'm being inconvenienced by a charity fundraiser. Boooooo hooooooo!"

Quit your whining and help out if you're that close to the event.

I have more important things to do on a Saturday than watch a bunch of people cramming their mouths full of kk donoughts. It's one thing to be periodically inconvenienced by events like this, but when they are continual it is rather annoying and deprives one from actually doing things that might otherwise have done had their street not been shutdown for those hours

Yep, it's all about you, isn't it.

Heaven forfend race organizers from coming up with different routes so that it isn't the same group of residents being inconvenienced every other Saturday.

And goddamn me for wanting to do things on a Saturday other than watch a bunch of people puke on my car.

I'll make sure and get off your lawn...

Dad and I ran it this morning. I ran a good first half of the race, even though I started farther back than I wanted.

That's all I'm saying on the matter.

It's about halfway on the return leg - so about mile 2-2.5 and it's everywhere.

/used to live a few blocks from the course myself and it's hilarious
