It was with great trepidation that opened the Commentary section on FARK.com. Being a man of reason and science, I had hoped that the bulwarks of logic and higher learning would shield my psyche from whatever might await.

I was wrong.

All light of civilized thought was overthrown in an onslaught of horrors unimaginable. Irrational Jpegs flitted in and out of vision, encircled with in-jokes and memes that remained stubbornly unfathomable to my perceptions. The intention of comments could not be trusted as grinning and leering faces laughed and japed at those caught in their subtle deceptions.

I managed to hit the 'Back' button, but I fear that I was too late to preserve my faculties of thought. When the lamp goes out, they will come.

I can hear them now.....
