No, you see, Unemployment is really 75% when you factor in the under-employed, the people who stopped looking, the people who are sick on on vacation, people who don't have the use of one or more limbs, children, the elderly and the dead.

Not to sound bigoted, but the dead are such slackers.

Job creation is not a measure of job creation. Obama is not getting off the hook for Kosovo. Stop it, libs.

This is the Bush recovery. It was just a smart move on Obama's part to extend the Bush tax cuts so that the job creators could have enough time to act.

of course non-farm unemployment went down, fartbongo redefined all industries other than community organizing to be considered farm labor. then he ran over a white girl with his car.

These numbers don't count the people who committed suicide because of Obama's job-killing regulations.

2012-02-03 12:51:51 PM
Really you have to consider unemployment to be around 700,000% because every person who doesn't have a job ACTUALLY doesn't have like a hundred jobs. You have to count every job they don't have. And people who are employed sometimes only have one or two jobs, they're unemployed in all the jobs they don't have.

There's also the fact that a lot of the jobs people do have are government jobs, which aren't real jobs. AND add to that the people who have "indirect government jobs":

-contractor who works on building public bridges/roads: government job
-lawyers who work only because the government creates laws: government job
-shop owner who has some customers that are cops, firefighters, etc: government job

So really, the unemployment rate is hovering near 3,498,200%, give or take.

I Said: There's also the fact that a lot of the jobs people do have are government jobs, which aren't real jobs. AND add to that the people who have "indirect government jobs":

Also factor in that every single job created during Obama's watch has been in the forced abortion industry, which shouldn't count either.

AND add to it the jobs that the aborted babies won't be able to create.

If I run some quick numbers, the REAL unemployment then becomes 7,356,820, conservatively.

That's about the same number of dollars per hour, that Obama spends on vacation.

Coincidence? Probably.

House Speaker John Boehner defended calling President Obama's economic message "almost un-American," saying that the president is dividing middle income and wealthy Americans.

... Boehner reiterated that he does not believe President Obama has done enough to improve the economy to deserve re-election.

"The president doubled down on the same failed policies that have not worked," Boehner said. "If the president won't work with us to help create jobs, I'm sure the American people will elect someone who will."

House Speaker John Boehner weighed in on the jobs number, welcoming the news, but saying "we must do better." House Majority Leader Eric Cantor echoed Boehner's statement, saying "we should aim even higher."

To contrast Obama's saying, "Whoa, let's not get crazy here! That's good enough"?

Not to mention the big ole NOTHING they've got going on the foreign policy front.

Its a little hard to believe they will go the birther route, but you may be right. I don't think those ropes tying the GOP to the mast are tied nearly as tight as they think they are. They could easily lose control of the message as an Obama second term looks more and more like an inevitability.

We will see.

Once they've run short of reasons he shouldn't be president they'll go back to reasons he can't be president. I wouldn't expect Romney to stoop that low, but his supporters will.

Yeah, but Romney will tell an audience full of vampires that he hates the sun and then turn around and tell an audience of farmers that the sun is the greatest thing ever.

What's weird is that they keep trying to push the "Obama is a soft appeaser" meme. Meanwhile, back on Earth, news stories break weekly about how Obama called down the fiery death on some terrorist, or sent helicopters full of bad-asses on a hostage raid where all the bad guys ended up shot, and all the hostages came home.

If anything, Obama has been hawkish, yet smart enough to avoid getting us bogged down in new ground wars.

You'll have surrogates slinging the really ugly racist shiat, which Romney will only half-heartedly "denounce" in a way that dogwhistles to his base that he really agrees.

I guess this is funny math. You have 300,000 - 400,000 new people filing for unemployment every week and only add 242,000 new jobs in a month. And unemployment goes down?

banana republic indeed

/remembers when the leftist scoffed at Bush's unemployment numbers because new hires could only land jobs at McDonalds. Wonders how many of Obama's jobs (that we have spent $5,000,000,000,000) are McJobs.

I would love to see the Republican candidates continue to debate who should be the 2012 nominee even after the election is over. It could be a great boon for the economy. Then again, so would "Throwing Taxbongo out on his ass."
