I used the "I'm am about to crap in my pants!" excuse while sitting with my butt two feet of the front the seat and sweating profusely the last time I got pulled over and it worked. (goddamned Chipotle). Maybe it worked because it was true.

my friend just got out of jail for this kind of thing. sort of. he often wondered why his dui arrest had gone much differently than mine. mine went as smoothly as they can get. i just went along with everything and let my lawyer sort it out. he had weed and had been drinking. he claimed, he was minding his own business and BAM, 5 cops had him on the ground, cuffed n stuffed him. he wasn't that bright. he couldn't understand why it went so wrong. maybe because he punched the cop? he said "well, they poked their finger in my chest, what are you going to do?" $15,000 and 2 weeks in jail and he still thinks he was done wrong.
