I don't care if it's so "edgy" it cuts Nielsen families every time they turn on their television - it's on NBC, so it's already screwed. Here's how this is going to go:

They will run the pilot in a near-primetime slot. After four weeks of level ratings, they will then give the show a two-week "break", and then air the next two or three episodes on a completely different day, in a completely different time slot. Then, the show will get another "break" of indeterminate length, followed by a single airing in yet another, different day and slot.

In other words, they're going to Grimm it to death.

That's precisely why I like the original BSG much better. I watched a few episodes and it was too depressing.

Walker: There already was a Munsters reboot back in the late 80's called "The Munsters Today". It was part of a block of realy bad shows that aired on Saturday's here that included "Small Wonder" and some show about an alive ventriloquist dummy starring Stephen Dorff. He didn't play the dummy.

Actually What a dummy was after the era of small-wonder. Small-wonder was in the 80's

What a dummy was in the early or mid nineties

the block had Harry and the Hendersons sitcom, My secret identity, and I think Superboy.

Didn't they try this in the 80's ?

No the Dragula is at the Volo Museum north of Chicago. You can see for yourself here. No one else can have it! Especially for a crappy movie re-make. As the other poster said there will just be a product placement for Dodge or GM musclecar.

Well, with so many sitcoms out now playing with the concept of "average family", and Disney throwing several versions of family-with-unusual background out there, perhaps NBC isn't too confident that doing classic-style Munsters is what should be done. What a glorious train wreck they might produce.

The 90s ended over a decade ago. Leave the gratuitous edge where it belongs, which isn't in this franchise.
