Are these the riots that were already going on against the U.S,-backed military regime we back in Egypt? Or are these other, unrelated riots going on concurrently?

I'd riot at a soccer game too, just to kill the boredom.

FTA: The People's Assembly (PA) held the interior minister responsible for what they described as the "Port Said massacre" and ordered the inclusion of the case to the fact finding committee of the January 25 Revolution's martyrs and injured.

And we now know why the situation continues - folks are using the hostilities in the stadium for political gain.

I was talking with my wife about this, and as incredibly racist as this sounds...this insane, crowd rioting, people dying in the stands, the violence that exists at some of these events...this is one of the major reasons why Americans will probably never fully embrace Soccer as a mainstream sport/have the same excitement as they do any other major "American" sporting event.

Simply put, we do not want to be associated with "brown people" sports and the associated violence. We look down on the lack of sophistication of the fans and judge the fans. Not to say that we are any better, there are plenty of examples of Americans rioting after a major sporting event...but it is sure as hell more common in other countries than in the US and resulting in far less deaths.

The people and cultures associated with it is definitely a reason that the NBA has trouble on occasion. The Lakers will always sell out their games, but the fan rioting every few years turns off plenty of fans

I'm not saying your an idiot.... But your an idiot.

Are you perhaps aware that soccer is the most popular sport world wide? And that it's very popular in Europe? And that many riots and allot of violence surrounding soccer games are committed by white people?
