Just let me start up the game and take a screen shot... I mean do a gis for a name I've never heard of, yeah, that's the ticket.

I guess one of the worst things about being paralyzed is other people can dress you in funny outfits and mess with your mustache.

but I guess if they wipe your ass for you they are entitled to a little fun

Ahh, and let's come over here and right near the white tower, we're going to make a happy little beheadding. There you go. You can make this head a man or a woman. Up to you, its your world. But for a really good, mournful 'you just cut my head off you bastard!' expression you just need to tap the side of your brush - like this, tap, tap - there we go. Now I'm going to show you how easy it is to make reflections in our little pools of blood.

Chuck Close is not impressed, but has his wife give the boy a thumb's-up anyway.

He was one of the world's top portrait artists - and the only person in history to turn down the Met for a solo show, because they pissed him off - when a seizure turned him nearly quadriplegic.

After a year, his wife stuck a paintbrush in his mouth, and said, "Start painting again or GTFO. You're annoying as a victim." (Or words to that effect.)

He's back. He's awesome. He now paints with wrist-strapped paintbrushes, but originally had to do it by mouth. His post-accident works are the ones made of low-res grids - he paints small sectional canvases, that assistants assemble.
artcritical.com

And he makes no bones about his luck, in having a reputation and a fortune to rely on for his comeback. That being said, his genius wasn't crippled, any more than Matisse's was when he was wheelchair-bound and nearly blind, or deaf Beethoven, or Dr. Hawking (although he no longer plays with the Washington Generals).
