I hope there is a song dedicated entirely to how many jiggawatts would be needed to make the machine work.

With the director they have chosen to helm it I can promise you it will kick ass.

The Libyans' big dance number should blow away the competition at the Tonys.

I've been to several Broadway theaters and I don't think any of them have enough room to get the DeLorean up to 88.

I can see one song title now: "You are my Density!"

dletter: I hope it isn't as shaky as Spider Man.

They'll have to replace "Johnny B. Goode" with "Shake, Rattle and Roll."

Do they have the capability to produce 1.21 Jiggawatts?

How could they be so careless? A broadway musical, Rob? How can you take a great movie and turn it into a successful musical? It can't be done, can it?

FTFA: "Fans of the iconic movie trilogy will surely be screaming at Broadway to "get their damn hands off" their beloved DeLorean time travel epic.

If my calculations are correct, when this dance number hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shiat.

Reaperman: Buttheads.

Yes, Buttheads is undoubtedly the "hilarious" show-stopping dance number right before intermission.

Now if you will pardon me, I have to throw up.

Funny, I just brought this up to my wife last night as a movie to make into a musical at her high school.

Butthead Overture (Biff's Theme)
1.21 Jitterbugs
Save the Clock Tower: A Love Song

So, do they get Christopher Lloyd to play Doc Brown again... I mean, isn't like he's doing anything really.

The thing about Broadway musicals is they're inherently cheesy. This won't be an epic retelling of the story, it'll just be a corny alternate version. Audiences will either appreciate it's campiness or loathe it for the very same reason.

♫ Oh, what's that smell? It smells like a sewer! ♫
♫ If there's one thing I hate, then I hate manure! ♫

Um, what? Have you never seen a Broadway musical? It's the very definition of cheesy.

MrEricSir: Have you never seen a Broadway musical?

Yes I have.

All of them.

Which is how I know that bit about "cheesy" is just something ignorant people throw around without any understanding of the form.

that reminds me. Did that spiderman show ever actually start? Because for some reason that whole fiasco put me in mind of "the producers"

Wow, talk about blind AND butthurt. Did I ever say I disliked Broadway musicals? Nope. Just pointed out they are incredibly cheesy, which isn't my opinion so much as what the definition of the word "cheesy" actually means.

Ignorant is not an insult. I am ignorant of many things.

You are ignorant of Broadway shows. That is not a matter of opinion. It is evident in your own words.

You're still going with this? Dude, if you don't think Broadway shows are the pinnacle of cheese, you have something seriously wrong upstairs. Blaming me for your problems will not help.

How many examples of deadly serious Broadway musicals do you require to concede this foolish point?

It would save both of us time if you provided an actual number.

As long as they never remake it in Hollywood, I'm happy. Keep your farking paws off this masterpiece, Hollywood.

Think about this:

1) The "Back To The Future" set burnt down at Universal studios.
2) Christopher Lloyd's house burnt down loaded with BTTF memorabilia and etc...
3) The only things that have involved BTTF in recent times are the blu ray release, the Nike Mag release in 2011, and the computer game release. That's IT! Leave the movies alone. Do not remake them. Don't be George Lucas.

George Lucas knows he sucks, so people should stop following his example. Fat fark.

"Serious musicals." That may be the funniest concept I've heard all day.
