Sorry. Was the only article I found at that moment on the story, and if I added (about 2/3 of the way downpage), I'd run into the "Keep it under 250 characters or so" error. My bad.

They omitted O'Connor's next line, which was "try the veal."

Thankfully, conventional wisdom tells us that Republicans are always the Party of Faith and Values, so it doesn't matter if their candidates are actually religious. Just like 2008, the Republican candidate will have no real religious credentials but will be given a free pass in the media. Mr. Obama, on the other hand, will once again be forced to trot out his faith and devotion to Jesus and use his 'preacher voice' over and over again, though the rumors of his secret devotion to Islam will be a constant undercurrent.

That's what I immediately thought of when Newt's ex-wife talked about him wanting an 'open marriage'. Polygamy by a non-practicing Moron.

2012-02-02 10:36:45 PM
As a practicing polygamist, I resent being lumped in with that piece of shiat Gingrich.
I do it honestly.

When told of the zinger, Newt immediately replied, "Ma'am, if I was your husband, I'd drink it." And then Mitt Romney led the crowd to a rousing rendition of America the Beautiful.

JudgeSmails: she's fun at parties.

So is Judge Ginsburg. She gave permission for her federal marshal detail to throw the groom's father of a wedding she was officiating into a lake - although it was with the caveat that she needed to be far away when it actually happened.

/the grooms father was pissed he had to pay for her security detail

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't care if you're currently farking 6 women, 2 men, and a horse, as long as you can run a nation.

I do however have a problem with candidates who hate women (which is every single Republican).

I only have a problem with it if you run on how morally great you are. If you're Bill Clinton or Anthony Weiner, whatever. Have a freaky sex life. That's between you and your wife, you didn't run on being a shining moral example.

If you're Newt Gingrich, who impeached Clinton for cheating while doing staffers on the side, yeah, I have an issue with it. If you're a anti gay moral crusader who's into gay bondage on the side, yeah, I have a problem with it.

It's the hypocrisy, not the habit.

No, I've pretty much got my technique down and everything. But it's still fun. Unlike monogamy.

Geeze, I start dating two women a month ago and suddenly I'm seeing my people everywhere. Well, amory vs gamy, but the overarching concept is the same.

Anyway, I'm thrilled with the general outcry in the poly community against Newt Gingrich's cheating and his bullshiat attempt to cover it up with retroactive permission.

Would love to have a wife along with the husband, but it would take a very special woman, so I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen. But that's a lot different than the "you're sick and ugly so can I go fark this hotter, younger chick?" psychopathy that Gingrich is capable of.

I know what he was trying to say was that Newt's an ass because he specifically cites Protestant sexual mores as the reason he supports certain legislation (anti-gay, anti-abortion) but doesn't actually obey them himself. It's just that the way he said it sort of implicitly assumed that sexual behavior should actually be a major part of what is considered moral, which I think most of us would disagree with and many of us actively object to.

So I poked him about it. Forget it, Jack, it's the internet.

Gingrich has no problem with multiple partners, but has tons of problems with single mothers.
