$250K will snuff a number of future constituents.

2012-02-02 06:07:12 PM
Hmm, I guess Planned Parenthood must be anti-trans fats.

2012-02-02 06:10:01 PM
Good on him.

EnviroDude: $250K will snuff a number of future constituents.

It's OK, they're likely poors or blacks.

2012-02-02 06:13:00 PM
Awesome, that's like a thousand abortions.

/I'm anti-choice, but totally pro-abortion.

2012-02-02 06:13:11 PM
Bloomberg is still a douchebag 1%er. But props to him for this.

2012-02-02 06:13:11 PM
I know its a publicity stunt...but still good for him.

2012-02-02 06:13:15 PM
This guy is hard to like but at the same time hard to hate. Right now I just give him a thumbs up.

EnviroDude: $250K will snuff a number of future constituents.

Because that is all that Planned Parenthood does. All. 100%. Forever.

2012-02-02 06:14:19 PM
Whoa, that's kinda awesome.

Anyway, fark SGKFTC, it's completely possible to raise money for research without creating a pink gravy train or suing other charities.

2012-02-02 06:15:06 PM
Good for him.

He's still not gonna get a fourth term as mayor, though.

2012-02-02 06:15:23 PM
It's going to make me LOL if Planned Parenthood ends up with more contributions than they lost on this deal.

2012-02-02 06:17:12 PM
Maybe I missed something. What connection does he have to all of this?

2012-02-02 06:17:34 PM
Boobies and politics make for strange bedfellows.

2012-02-02 06:17:43 PM
No doubt he will be reimbursed by Soros.

2012-02-02 06:17:49 PM
The real coup de grace for them is when I switch my $50 a rear donation to planned parenthood from the pink fundraiser.

PanicMan: Maybe I missed something. What connection does he have to all of this?

I think his mother may have been a women.

MFAWG: It's going to make me LOL if Planned Parenthood ends up with more contributions than they lost on this deal.

I used to donate to Susan G. Komen in the past but now I am probably just give the money to Planned Parenthood. Out of groups that do the most for people PP is hard to beat.

I'm thinking the trolling with an alt account has hit a new low when you find a way to make a dumbass comment about this.

Jacobin: The real coup de grace for them is when I switch my $50 a rear donation to planned parenthood from the pink fundraiser.

But I thought if you put it in the rear you didn't need planned parenthood?

PanicMan: Maybe I missed something. What connection does he have to all of this?

He's the mayor of a city that has lots and lots of boobies in it.

How About Donating Some Capital Letters So Your Headline Doesn't Look Like This?

Breast exams are rarely fatal. Fool.

Considering his vast wealth, it's about like me giving them a buck fifty. But good jerb, anyway, Mr. Mayor.

It's a little silly to brush off $500,000

$250,000 will save a lot of current constituents.

Rich white people?

And Komen is the only cancer charity, right?

2012-02-02 06:29:48 PM
PanicMan: Maybe I missed something. What connection does he have to all of this?

Probably likely just one of many upset after finding out they they have been donating their money and time to a good nonpolitical charity all these years, only to find out it was run by a bunch of right wing religious zealots and loonies.

I was going to say this was chump change next to the amount that Planned Parenthood used to get from SGK, but then I actually researched it and found that the annual grant is only about $600,000. So, if Mayor Bloomberg can put in $250,000, others can put in another $250,000 and then Bloomberg matches that piece, that's $750,000 -- a net win. For one year, anyway. Nice.

Seriously. This is in response to Komen's pull-out (awwww yeah), and he's almost single-handedly making up for the entire loss (giggity). But some people will never be satisfied (even if they fake it),

Good job Mr. Bloomberg.

PP's contraceptive services prevent 612,000 unintended pregnancies & 291,000 abortions annually. It's the USA's biggest abortion preventer.

So does someone here have that list of things republicans are against? I see it pop up from time to time, but never think to copy it down.

I haven't kept abreast of this story. If mamory serves, koeman pulls support because of underwire issues?

Renart: Considering his vast wealth, it's about like me giving them a buck fifty. But good jerb, anyway, Mr. Mayor.

That's just today's donation. Mayor Bloomberg gives away about a quarter billion dollars per year.

Is that you, Senator Kyl?

But if we're right, and we can stop this thing... Mikey, you will have saved the lives of millions of registered voters.

for a multi-billionaire? of course
it is a publicity stunt.

These 1% are all the same.

he should donate tens of millions and keep his mouth shut instead of trying to make a political point.

Yeah, but contraceptives are bad, too. If you're gonna fark, there must be consequences for it! Nobody should be allowed to fark and not get pregnant!

He's getting ready for his presidential run in 2016.

And he will probably win.

He might make an ok president in terms of social issues, but he will keep the kleptocratic gravy train running the same as any other politician.

Add 'women' and 'breasts' to it.

Kinda backs the whole 'Republicans are just self-hating homosexuals who need Big Daddy Government to keep them from feeling funny DOWN THERE' theory, doesn't it?

2012-02-02 06:53:24 PM
He was probably wondering what to do with that loose change he found in his couch cushions.

DONATING MONEY TO THINGS POOR PEOPLE USE IS A TOTAL ALINSKY TACTIC! OMG! RAGE!

2012-02-02 06:55:28 PM
Here's the kicker, the 600k that SGK was giving them most likely had special conditions that it be used for breast exams only. (I mean, think about it, how would SGK feel if it was revealed a cancer charity was directly funding abortions right?)

Since that stopped, they will get more money from individuals and that money isn't donated under special conditions.

That money doesn't have to be used solely for breast exams.

Suck it SGK.

To some, ejaculating into a condom, getting snipped/tied, taking birth control pills, etc. is the exact same as killing millions of children and therefore is worse than the Holocaust.
