I'm assuming the story has to have been changed. It was reported this morning that Trump was about to endorse Gingrich and that's presumably what the link went to at the time. It's bush-league journalism to change the page without a disclosure of what it said previously, but hey, this is just some local TV station's web site after all.

This isn't nearly as Trumpy as I expected.

I envisioned him getting up on stage with Gingrich and endorsing Romney right in Newt's face.

Of course it's an AP feed, and the TV station is allowed to put the AP feed on its website. But if the same link, earlier in the day, had said that Trump was going to endorse Romney, then it would be the TV station's responsibility to put in an asterisk and a footnote on what it had said previously. If the earlier story had been on a different link, then it could just be presented as a new story in the "hey, things change" category.
