How about if all of them step in front of a moving train instead? Seems like that would be far more beneficial to society as a whole.

Well, at least no one can accuse the Subtard of possessing reading comprehension skills.

Huh. Subby must have just read the URL: /story/16658474/ap-source-trump-intends-to-endorse-gingrich

/Not subby.

Would you vote for him if he was? Because he can be whatever you want him to be.

Considering Trump's "This one's broken, bring me a new one!" record of marriage, he and the Gingritch should get along well together.

Earlier today the reports were that it was Gingrich.

"Sixty-four percent of definite and likely GOP voters in a Pew survey last month said an endorsement from the reality television star would make no difference to them. Thirteen percent said it would make them more likely to back a candidate, while 20% said it would actually make them less likely."

Keep ramping up the hilarity, GOP.

Thread over.

So did Trump ask to see Romney's birth certificate too?

Or does that work for only certain people?

ertznay: Isn't anyone going to point out that subby fails reading comprehension

When the link was submitted, the AP was reporting that Trump was going to endorse Gingrich (the URL of the submission is http://www.wrcbtv.com/story/16658474/ap-source-trump-intends-to-endor se-gingrich)

Now, of course, we know the opposite is true, hence the updated headline.

2012-02-02 02:12:37 PM
wanting trumps endorsement should be reason enough not to vote for someone

2012-02-02 02:15:24 PM
Nooooo! Trump can't endorse anyone, he has to run!

/for the lulz

I'm assuming the story has to have been changed. It was reported this morning that Trump was about to endorse Gingrich and that's presumably what the link went to at the time. It's bush-league journalism to change the page without a disclosure of what it said previously, but hey, this is just some local TV station's web site after all.

2012-02-02 02:35:31 PM
This isn't nearly as Trumpy as I expected.

I envisioned him getting up on stage with Gingrich and endorsing Romney right in Newt's face.

"Trump, himself an on-again/off-again candidate for president and former Republican, will announce his support for Romney on Thursday, a source close to the Romney campaign and a Republican familiar with the decision said.

"CNN had initially reported Trump's backing for Romney. The cable network reported he would make his announcement on Thursday in Las Vegas, citing sources with knowledge of the endorsement.

"Thursday's news was a direct contradiction to reports on Wednesday, citing sources close to Gingrich's campaign, that Trump would endorse the former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives in Las Vegas on Thursday."

Link (new window). Sounds like both campaigns thought they had the endorsement in the bag.

Romney and Gingrich are playing Hot Potato. Trump is the potato, half the Republican base can count to potato, and Obama is playing chess.

Super Chronic: this is just some Associated Press news feed on a local TV station's web site after all.

FTFY. Almost all TV and daily newspaper websites have auto-feeds from the AP, especially those in smaller markets. Blame the AP for their lousy reporting/updating on this one.

2012-02-02 03:09:47 PM
Trump was probably going to support Gingrich but then Romney swooped in and out bid Gingrich for the endorsement at the last minute.

2012-02-02 03:13:52 PM
Trump just endorsed someone who's as rich as Trump thinks he is. No big deal.

Jealousy is wanting to kept something or someone to yourself. Envy is wanting what someone else has (the song Jesse's Girl is about envy).

We have two words because they represent TWO different ideas.

The more you know the less ignorant you'll be.

I will be disappointed if David Axlerod doesn't make a joke along these lines on a Sunday morning talk show this weekend.

Donald Trump, Mitt Romney, the Koch Brothers .... so nice for the GOP to trot out these self made men to be the face of the 1%.

Oh wait, they were all born into ridiculously wealthy family money.

Of course it's an AP feed, and the TV station is allowed to put the AP feed on its website. But if the same link, earlier in the day, had said that Trump was going to endorse Romney, then it would be the TV station's responsibility to put in an asterisk and a footnote on what it had said previously. If the earlier story had been on a different link, then it could just be presented as a new story in the "hey, things change" category.

Honestly, why is this news? Why should anyone care who Trump endorses?

I understand with Bachmann, Huntsman, even Palin why an endorsement might matter... those folks had at least some supporters. Do you think even one person was waiting to see who this clown Trump endorsed before deciding who to vote for? Would Romney even want the endorsement of a AW like Trump?

This means nothing to me. I'm waiting until LiLo, Snooki, the Situation and the Kardashians make their endorsements before I decide who I'm voting for.
