Wisniewski acknowledged that his office sent a letter, dated May 9, to agency Deputy Director Bill Baroni, a Christie appointee. Wisniewski said the correspondence was a form letter on behalf of a constituent he did not even know.
"I write to offer my highest personal recommendation on behalf of Mr. Christopher Egan, who is seeking a position with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey," the letter stated. "I know Mr. Egan to be an intelligent, hard working, and motivated individual who would make a great addition to your team. I have attached his extensive resume for your review."
Egan said in a phone interview he did not know Wisniewski, nor was he certain who had given the assemblyman his name.

"This governor is 'Do as I say, not as I do,'" Wisniewski told the newspaper.

Lsherm: Keep farking that chicken, Democrats.

Having lived there half my life, I can tell you that corruption in NJ is not at all a D or R thing. It's a "politician in NJ" thing.

Its almost as hypocritical as Sweeney(D) being a proponent of gay marriage.

Sweeney(D) didn't even show up for the vote.

Democrats hate two things more in life than anything else: a minority republican and a gop endorsement from a union. They really hate the former.

New Jersey state lawmakers biatching about corruption is right up there with Newt Gingrich talking family values.

Christie and Cory Booker excepted, although it's always a good idea to have the notion in the back of your head that eventually (your favorite politician) will go native and fark you over.
