Well damn.

Sort of csb time, somewhat unrelated:
I lived in the same neighborhood as Robert Hansen. The movie "Breach" was based on that guy.

He was found impaled on this large electrical device. It took our surgeons 2 hours just to get the smile off of his face.

A coworker told the FBI that they had seen Harwin "carrying a heavy plastic bag out of NGA facilities" in Springfield, Virginia on "three to four different occasions."

So they didn't say anything the first or second time? Fire their sorry ass also and pull their clearance.

Okay I didn't read the article, I have a headache and need more pictures today, but if you think about it, giving top secret information to hoarders would be a brilliant idea.

What goes in never comes back out and if the hoarder has cats then you wouldn't want to touch the document even if you could find it.

namegoeshere: It's that easy to walk out the door with a whole bunch o' top secret stuff?

Yes, especially when you get things like an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who doesn't think that security regulations apply to him by virtue of his rank.

In an environment where you may not be entitled know what your co-workers should or should not be doing, yes.

Well, to be fair, he had tried the embassy, consulate and the United Nations first.

You ever tried to break into a Toyota Corolla? It's farking impossible, unless you happen to have a slim jim handy. Or a rock. Rocks are hard to come by.

/No, not the beef snack. Those are only good for leaving little greasy spots on the windshield.

FBI agents, who began investigating the 67-year-old Harwin last month, questioned him on January 20 about the discovery of secret and top-secret documents in his 1991 Toyota Corolla.

Dude's a top-secret defense analyst and he drives a shiattier car than your average 16-year-old burger flipper? Well, at least we know he probably wasn't selling them to the Chinese.

Even if he was, what makes you think he was getting paid a lot for them? Spies almost never get rich, and one of the lessons of spying from the last, oh, few hundred years is that if you *ARE* being paid handsomely, don't flaunt it, otherwise it's likely that the counterintel people will start asking questions about where the money came from.
