That was pure awesome syrup in the can the looks like a little log cabin.

Please let this become a Saturday morning cartoon complete with advertisements for sugary cereal and G.I. Joe action figures that do amazing stunts with only marginal help from hands of nearly off-camera kids.

My only hope is that I live long enough that they can have a screening of the series' live action movie at my nursing home.

I have one basic criticism of this, and it's that 80'S CARTOONS WERE NOT CGI CEL ANIMATED.

They were all hand-drawn and colored (as was normal practice at the time), with the bits of good animation done by Japanese production houses re-used in every episode, and the rest of it done by Korean animators who never noticed that every character was off-model as often as they were on.

Still, it looks nice as a modern pseudo-retro. I wish somebody would give Insect Warriors this kind of treatment.

Brilliant. The 'stash on the main guy was a nice touch. They only thing missing was their vehicles improbably combining to form a giant robot.

Fixed that for you.

I know that for a project like this it'd make no sense to hand-animate, but that bothered me, as well. It didn't look 80's at all.

I still can't decide if that was the gayest thing I've ever seen or the most awesome. And can't shake the feeling that Furries will farking love it.

Iceberg659: True but +3 for Keytar.

Yeah, the keytar made me snort. Nice touch.

Whoever makes an add on for final cut or whatever that will take the sterile looking CGI cell shiat, introduce "errors" and "swing" into the frames will make a mint. The problem with animation nowadays is that it's too clean and consistent. It sort of enters the uncanny valley.

Voltron - Check

He-Man OR early 80's Fantastic Four - the one without the Human Torch (Floaty sidekick)

She-Ra - Check (Girl's costume almost identical)

ThunderCats - Check (Especially the girl's "power shot")

Lady Gaga? Mother Mustang instead of Mother Monster
Beta Ray Bill? Horse mask?
Ambiguously Gay Duo? Male Space Stallion bare midriffs?

/ClintBartonWannabe watched too many cartoons as a child - Check.

I liked the glowing grids in the background, made it feel hi-tech.

You need a team of five for giant robot shenanigans.

That said, the girl's horse-vehicle needs boob-rockets with mismatched coloring due to the fact that only the one on the left ever gets fired.

The keytar sword was pure awesome.

/I'd watch it

Check out some of their other stuff. The "Girl and Robot" video makes it really dusty in here...

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was put off by that glaring error :(

The blond guy looks like a buffed up Gay Asterix

What should I do Mother Mustang!?

MUCH better!

Yeah, the image at :36 of the one guy humping the other guy from behind was pretty gay. And the image of the mustachioed guy thrusting his crotch at the horse's mouth at around :58 was pretty beastialistic. Gross.

The part that cracked me up was "X-Ray Man" He was everything. Wore the he-man battle harness, shot web from his wrist like Spiderman, the web then turned into Tron grids, he had cyclop's glasses, and the voice and hairstyle of Ma-ti (the captain planet kid with the power of heart)

A+ would laugh again

I was thinking the girl in the animation reminded me of the girls in the Drinky Crow Show, due to the animation style.

I could feel my testosterone levels drop with every second that video played.
