Non-Story, isolated incident. Move along.

The democrats are only sensitive to perceived racism because they're a bunch of lazy good-for-nothings that refuse to work real jobs like cleaning the toilets for the schools across the tracks that get all the books and money... so they have all day to sit around watching their flat-screen TVs from their leather couches with spinning rims in their urban projects. All that free time and 'itis from the barbeque allows them to be easily spooked when a clean-cut, self-made man calls a spade a spade.

Why would he want abort them? That would decimate the labor pool for janitors, shoe shines, and rappers with big lips and bling.

To the contrary, less minorities means less competition for those coveted jobs. It's simple supply and demand.

Speaking of being factually incorrect. Watch any interview with Stephen Spielberg about "Red Tails" and you will hear him say that he had to pay for it because Hollywood refused to fund a movie with an all black cast.

Speaking as a black person, I can say that the last thing I would care about would be a movie with Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrance Howard and Ne-Yo playing pilots in a George Lucas film. These "Black films" don't do bad because they're full of black casts, they do bad because they're shiatty films that over-emphasize the fact that the characters are black so much, it makes them unreal; it ends up becoming so integral to the storyline to the point that Non-black viewers start feeling awkward about it.

It's clear these films are targeted specifically for black folks, so you can't be surprised when people who aren't black don't care to see it. But, if you made an action movie had Will Smith, Morgan Freeman, Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington and Idris Elba playing a band of bad-ass ex-government assassins trying to protect the President against a terrorist threat, you'd see that problem vanish.

/But, it'd be expensive as shiat.

It could be a faint allusion to minstrel shows. And I think Newt has been using some coded language. But in this case, I believe Newt was responding to recent events - Obama singing at an Apollo theater fundraiser - and not blowing a whistle.

Just watched season one of "Luther" from the BBC. Am watching season two this weekend. Terrific series. Idris Elba was great in that.

I had no idea that the British Elba played Charles Miner on The Office as well as Heimdall in Thor.

Yeah, when he said that bullshiat I was like "I did not know you could stuff that much bullshiat in one person." It was practically spraying on the screen.

And Rev. Al demonstrated exactly why I like Rev. Al in that interview. He farking tore that guy a new hole, and he did it with brutal efficiency. You could practically hear that idiot thinking "Shut up you farking n*gg*r! You're totally exposing me for the racist douchebag we all know I am!"

How can you have a civilization with people like this who live in a schitzoid fantasy world and instead of using reason simply spout off their delusions?
You can't argue with someone who lives in a delusional world that has no correspondence to reality.

You can't have a civilization when you have people like this guy who are happy to forsake truth and babble like a crack addict in public.
This raving, rabid lunatic needs a rubber room and injections twice a day, not a public forum to embarrass himself by frothing his madness in public

Also, didn't Mr. Fishburne make something about the Tuskegee Airmen a while ago?

I just can't handle these "interviews" where the participants constantly talk over each other, constantly interrupt each other, shift topics on a dime, never finish a thought, and throw loaded words and phrases around.

Why can't they just, you know, talk? One person says something, then the other person responds.

If someone says something you don't agree with you don't have to CUT THEM OFF RIGHT AWAY AND DON'T LET THEM FINISH. You can wait for them to finish their statement and then respond with your explanation of why they're wrong.

I was first taught that in kindergarten. I guess they must've forgotten it.

Yeah, it connects to the idea that black people exist to entertain whites. They can sing and dance, but not be taken seriously or given respect. The old idea that being an entertainer is not a respectable profession. It goes back to the sort of conception of the world that says that a black person can only get into a white nightclub if he's on stage.

But Obama was singing a song by Rev Al Green. I appreciate a lot of coded language, but I think this is too close to the actual truth of what Obama was doing to carry an additional emotional/racist charge.

Of course, Obama probably made things more difficult by being awesome at it.

I should highlight that I'm not in the US so it's likely I'm missing the overtones you speak of, but I think it's worth baring in mind that perhaps they aren't there on this occasion. (just this one!)
