Mitt Romney should be drawing a paycheck from Obama for America 2012. Thanks, Willard!

I would have said 'desperately attempting to defend' myself, since they know they're backing a loser but...just as you will.

That'd actually improve his poll numbers, as voters would agree it showed Mitt was finally getting in touch with his true self.

You know he's memorized the answer to the question of "How many houses do you have?"

He's keeping Gingrich in the race.

the best way to defeat the GOP this year seems to be to just give them a microphone and let 'em talk for an hour.

Silly, Mitt. You're not supposed to SAY those things. You're just supposed to work towards policies that have 'screw the poor' as an outcome. That's the Republican way.

2012-02-01 07:09:29 PM
Has there ever been a more tone-deaf candidate who was also the front-runner in his party's primary race? He's the epitome of "was that wrong? should I not have done that?".

Romney is going to get killed by his own party when he starts saying 'Obamacare was copied from what I did as governor' and other moderate to moderate-liberal things he did in Massachusetts. You know he's going to do it. And you know he'll pick a token nutbag as VP to appease them. But I think this time it won't be enough. He makes McCain '08 look appealing.

I'll say it for the umpteenth time. He's a horrible, horrible candidate. Forget his policies, forget his ever changing positions, and forgot what few plans were he to actually win the election. The guy has no right whatsoever running for President because he's just farking awful at it.

He's been doing NOTHING but running for President for over 4 years straight, and he and his campaign are still in amateur hour. His only appeal to Republican voters is that he's not as shiatty as all the other candidates.

Just as fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, undisciplined, uncharismatic, and unsympathetic is no way to go through a Presidential campaign...particularly one you've been working on for nearly half a decade straight.

This man lost to John McCain in the last primary people. He's that farking bad.

Completely taken out of context. Mitt says he is not worried about the very poor because of the social safety net. It is quite a leap so assume he would have made the comment in the absence of an effective social safety net for them.

Romney says poor are being taken care of by the system, fark the rich. He's worried about the rest of America.

Libs react by saying he wants to use the poor for firewood.

Conservatives say that firewood idea has some merit.

Yeah, Pat Robertson said something similar earlier along the lines of "Candidates, I know you want to institute religious based policies into our increasingly secular culture, but you don't talk about that stuff out loud in an election year. Lie to the people for goodness sakes", paraphrasing of course.

Gallup has Obama and Romney currently tied in various swing states.

The fact that North Carolina and Virginia are "swing states" is telling.

The fact that you tell easily refutable lies is unsurprising.

His premise is fine: the middle class does indeed bear the brunt of paying for the upkeep of government.

Anybody who believes that he'd actually work on behalf of the middle class, however, is an abject retard.
