Frak!

Read TFA and it's about some company with a cool name not about 6' tall, gorgeous blonds who frak you and then get you to give up access to the defense computers.

Yes, I would give them up and so would you

If you look at human's actions through the years, especially in regards to other life on earth and fellow humans; it shouldn't be a surprise to realize that we are the Cylon's of the universe.

The contract with the Raleigh Convention Centre in North Carolina will involve Cylon applying its cloud-based real-time energy management technology to centrally monitor and analyse the US facility's energy consumption remotely

That's interesting, but what I really want to know is if they'll be able to leverage one-to-one synergy while hashing out cost effective core competencies and actively making quantum leaps in value-add and buy-in.

/the writer of TFA should be strangled to death for their own good

I'd be more concerned about the vaccination supply contracts being awarded to Umbrella Corporation.

I was standing at a urinal once. I looked over to my right (it's okay, the wall was to my right, I wasn't breaking any urinal etiquette rules). There on the wall was a thermostat that read 'Johnson Controls'. I gave them a turn, and sure enough, my Johnson veered right. I turned them back and it veered left again.

I'm sure glad they weren't testing my pee. It was all legal, but I was on so much Prozac and Hydrocodone that it would have ended up in the textbooks.

did not expect a nerd convention thread. WTG Sheldon. TFA reeks of the rolling energy black-outs that are to become part of merican life and you reference sci-fi titbits. making it a little too easy for the overlords.

Ugh.

The '80s series was fun in its own cheesy way.

But the new one? A few good episodes, then it went to absolute shiat. It got so incredibly stupid so quickly that I never even finished the first season.

And when I heard about the ending? I'm glad I never bothered. I'd have been REALLY pissed.

The original, it turns out, doesn't really pass the test of time all that well. Last I checked it was on Hulu if you want see for yourself.

/Most of my childhood favorites don't.

Actually I thought it held up quite nicely. The special effects were a lot better than those on shows like Space: 1999 and of course Doctor Who. And it has its cheese, but I can get over that and enjoy. In fact I was watching the original last week when I realized I never saw the remake. So I decided to give that a shot. Just started season two.
