Facebook users worldwide preferred Madelyn to McKenna.

Apparently Facebook users aren't total dicks. I'd only slightly rather be named McKenna than Penisface.

Well, if the article is what I read, they limited the name to a specific list. That's why it's a normal name.

More people chose Madelyn over McKenna because Madelyn is an actual first name. (Not ideal spelling, but I can overlook that.) The wife is stupid for even taking that bet; her choice never stood a chance.

2012-02-01 01:34:19 PM
They only gave the voters two choices: the stupid choice that he preferred, and the even stupider choice that she preferred.

Hmmmm... this system of voting sounds familiar but I can't put my finger on where I've seen it before

By 2030, all of the males in Canada will be named Tim, and their middle names will all be Horton.

/And everyone in Duluth, MN will look exactly like Ernest Borgnine.

My kid is 3 days old.
Being named after a famous Greek myself, my top choices where:
Apostrophe if its a girl.
Parenthesis if its a boy.

My wife wanted names like Austin, Travis and Tristan.

It was a boy. We settled on Felix.

So many Tristans. I put 'Isolde' on our list just to keep them company.

... but only if we went with a car company middle name: Isolde Portia, Isolde Mercedes, etc.

I knew a woman who was called "Isolde Fanny [last name]."

At least I think that was her name. It might have been her job description.
