argh. I didn't quite finish my argument.

Anyway, if one believes the world works according to Truths and Blessings like that, denouncing apostates and heretics and nonbelievers is serious business.

It follows that Romney's one of the reasons Sarah can't have nice things.

More proof that Republicans don't actually understand that words have meanings, rather than being things you say about the people you dislike.

LarryDan43: I believe Sarah Palin just recently learned of Alinsky and Stalin. Whenever Sarah learns something new, often its just a new word, she immediately has to make a reference to it as if she knew all along.

Or it's just the "Communist-A-Day" toilet paper she got for Christmas

Bailin' Palin, or Nailin' Stalin? So many choices.

Romney may well get my vote over Obama. Sarah could change all that. If Romney doesn't have the balls to put her in her place, he doesn't have the balls to be president.

I'd rather go with the Mr. No-Balls I know than the Mr. No-Balls i don't.

Problem here is Romney will not say a thing because he will do anything he thinks will help get him elected. He thinks he needs that far right voter and that Palin can help him. What he and a bunch of the party dont understand is that, the more they use Palin and her kind the more they move away from moderates and independents.

She must have another pregnant daughter, and need the money...

PlatinumDragon: What's with the Alinsky obsession?

This is the Tea Party trying to have it both ways. Alinsky's weriting is widely distributed amongst the Tea Party leadership as a blueprint for how to conduct their own actions. But because he was on the left, they also get to use his name as a pejorative dog whistle for the very same people that they're controlling using his tactics.

Rapmaster2000: Regardless, she's been exposed as irrelevant.

I keep hoping that; however, she keeps turning up like a bad penny or taco.

As do Newt, and Romney, and Bill Krystol, and Dick Cheney...

Your new overlord! Get with it Palin! Romulin FTW!!! Newt for Vice Salamander!!!!

Dammit! That's what's been bothering me about that dude's hair this whole time - it really does look like something from Star Trek - early TNG, perhaps, maybe TOS.

Saul Alinsky: wiki

His early efforts to "turn scattered, voiceless discontent into a united protest aroused the admiration of Illinois governor Adlai Stevenson, who said Alinsky's aims 'most faithfully reflect our ideals of brotherhood, tolerance, charity and dignity of the individual.'"[4]

Jake Havechek: I never even heard of this Alinsky cat until the freepers and Empress Palin brought him up.

Sometimes you can learn stuff from them. I never knew of Che Guevara until I heard about him from conservatives.

Jake Havechek: It was Alinsky tactics at their worst

It's strange the Republicans are using Alinsky's name as an epithet, given that a) his goal was to help the poor and underclassed, and b) the Tea Party is a case study in his methods.

I'm sorry, did I say strange? I meant obvious.

I guess scary liberal Jewish guy with power. The Soros gig got kind of old.

tcan: Craptastic: tcan: Palin sees that she is rapidly slipping into irrelevance and this is a deparate cry for attention. Look for more of the same from hera and others trying to claim the Tea Party leadership.

Zeus cheats on her pretty much all the damned time.

Typing mistake or Freudian slip? Hmmmm......

Goosed while typing?

Pretty much, yeah. Even the rhetoric is eerily similar to Russia, 1933. It only needs punched up a little bit.

"Romney is a counter-revolutionary lackey of the fascist running-dog Alinsky! Down with the reactionaries of the establishment! Forward the Revolution of Dear Leader Reagan!"

Eddie Adams from Torrance:

I suppose the Republicans would find this out if they ever bothered to learn the 1st thing about him other than "Alinsky?.. sounds commie"

Sounds like Pig Latin to me.

"By positioning herself as the champion of the party's grassroots in a battle with an aging and out-of-touch establishment, Palin is staking a claim on the (Republican) party's heart and soul."

Given the amount of evidence piling up that shows the Republican party is definitely heartless and quite possibly soulless, good luck with that.

brantgoose: Sarah Palin is somebody Romney is going to need. It's really hard to fill that critical sinicure of Amberican Ambassador to:

a) Croatia
b) Uganda
c) El Salvador
d) Montenegro.

Remind me again, what has Sarah Palin done for Romney? Would it justify making her American Consul in the second biggest city in Moldavia*? Surely, even if there are no men or women in the Republican Party today who are worthy of the Presidency, there is somebody just a little stupider and less popular than Romney? There has to be, doesn't there? Please tell me that the GOP has a Vice-President calibre politician (VP calibre: i.e., small bore).

*Tiraspol. Google knows all, Google sees all.

Tiraspol is also in a breakaway region that the Moldovan government has no control over....so that would be extra lulzy

I think W. got diefied a whole lot faster, but it didn't take permanently.
