A goddamn slideshow. fark that. Don't give them the ad revenue for all the clickthroughs, Farkers. Here you go:

Milwaukee's Best
Keystone Lights
Budweiser
Busch
Schlitz

2012-01-31 02:45:08 PM
Is that website the man version of 17 magazine?

Written for much younger people who are imagining what it's like to be an adult?

Shouldn't drink those beers *before* 25 either.

I like Keith Stone. I hate his beer.

Oh look, another judgemental asshole beer snob. The fact they thought a slideshow was a good idea should tell you all you need to know about this douchebag.

Five websites no man should view after 25.

1) Mademan.com
2)
3)
4)
5)

To be fair, Keystone is good to drink on hot days by the pool for the same reason Coors Light is good to drink on hot days by the pool - you can drink a LOT of it and not get alcohol poisoning.

I mean, the alternative would be to drink water. And that would suck.

Pretty much, yeah. Standard troll article.

Be a man, and drink whatever the fark you want, because why care what some lame website thinks?

2012-01-31 03:32:59 PM
Don't drink any beer that touts how few calories is in it.

2012-01-31 03:34:19 PM
I can't stand Budweiser, but it certainly doesn't belong on that list. Bud Light maybe.

2012-01-31 03:38:45 PM
No surprises on that list. What happened, the obvious tag passed out after shotgunning some natty ice?

If you're going to drink Budweiser after your prime years, take a trip to Canada to do it. Canadians get a whole different version that is right up there with the finest microbrews.

I find this statement very impossible to believe. Has anyone ever had Canadian Budweiser? It may indeed be better than American but I highly doubt it could possibly be as good as the finest microbrews. Any opinions from anyone who'se had it?

2012-01-31 03:40:45 PM
I've had Bud here, but never south of the border so I really can't compare.

It's definitely a shiatty beer though. "Right up there with the finest microbrews" my ass.

jaylectricity: I can't stand Budweiser, but it certainly doesn't belong on that list. Bud Light maybe.

I don't mind it, if all there is at a party is crap beer... I hope to at least find some Budweiser. Its drinkable, nothing more nothing less.

Light beers make me gag. They all taste like plastic.

If you're buying the beer then drink what you like and shut the fark up.
If you're drinking someone else's beer for free then shut the fark up and drink it without whining about how it doesn't have the overtones of Brazilian nutmeg like the Lord Horfsnagel's Cranberry Aspic Ale that is only made one cask at a time by blind monks in a Icelandic insane asylum who use underwater volcanoes to heat the brewery.

Mr. Coffee Nerves: the Lord Horfsnagel's Cranberry Aspic Ale that is only made one cask at a time by blind monks in a Icelandic insane asylum who use underwater volcanoes to heat the brewery.

That's an OK beer but it's really a bit overrated.

2012-01-31 04:04:34 PM
I just had Natural Ice for the first time since...ever, and I don't think that's an appropriate beer for anyone of any age. I haven't gagged on a beer like that since I had Steel Reserve right after it came out.

2012-01-31 04:04:46 PM
Schlitz went back to their old formula which isn't bad.

I may have to steal that. I will credit you as the author though.

That gave me the legit gut laugh I really needed today.

2012-01-31 04:32:28 PM
Oh cool, I can still slam Natty Lights without fearing judgment from shiatty manblogs.

2012-01-31 04:41:49 PM
As a Canadian, I can assure you that Budweiser is piss here too.

2012-01-31 04:42:01 PM
I only drink 26% ice-distilled bourbon barrel Belgian royal stouts

If there's anything I can't stand, it's a beer snob....
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some Natural Light to go drink.

nekom: Has anyone ever had Canadian Budweiser?

Yes. While not necessarily up to the "micro brew" level, it did indeed have more flavour than US domestic Budweiser.

I don't know about "not drinking after 25," but these are five beers that I used to drink like water in undergrad (in my order of preference) and have not had in, well, a very very long time:

1) Mickey's (the green grenade)
2) Arctic Bay (with "old bottle opens the new bottle" technology!)
3) Castlemaine (twice as good as Dos Equis...it had 4 Xs and cost about a quarter as much)
4) Keystone (when there was no Castlemaine)
5) Milwaukee's Best (when there was no Keystone)

Oh Christ, Mickey's. I had forgotten about that stuff. Tasted like shiat.

And lest we forget:

6) Olympia
7) Bud Ice
8) Red Dog

I will admit I am a snob about what I consume, but if offered something that doesn't fit into my definition of "good" I'll just say "no thank you" or accept without comment. It's really dickish to accept something from your host then go on complaining about it and talking down to them about how your choices are so much better. Blech. Can't stand that behavior!

2012-01-31 05:36:43 PM
tnpir: 8) Red Dog

Oh, yes, Red Dog. Although that was some pricey stuff. Usually only had that after someone's parents came to visit.

In my day the "new," cheap college beer was Rolling Rock. I don't know if they'd just started selling it in Tennessee or what, but it blew up for about two years and then faded back into well deserved obscurity.

They are confused, that Schlitz is not a high-proof malt liquor.
It's a throback beer to the 60's, much like Old Style and LaCrosse Lager.

Things no man should do after age 25:

1) Allow other people to tell him what he should or should not like.

2012-01-31 06:19:20 PM
Any of these beers could be palatable if run through a Randall at the tap.

/mmmm, hops.

2012-01-31 06:42:33 PM
What a lame list. A correct list would have mentioned stuff like wine coolers, Smirnoff Ice, and other "biatch brews".

Starting another list:

Beers that no man should drink after 25 if he's not homeless:

Steel Reserve

2012-01-31 06:52:02 PM
I can't read this article without my lens-less black rimmed glasses.

Damn, Beaten. But it bears repeating.

Remember when Bud Dry was all the rage?

I drink Coors Light.
Wanna fight about it?

My opinion is that Czech Budweiser is the tits, and is better than your typical German beer.

2012-01-31 06:54:21 PM
budweiser is still shiatty here in canada, it just has a higher alcohol content then your even shiattier american version

2012-01-31 06:54:30 PM
Buds about the best of the generic american beers. but once you turn 21 and can buy your own, there's simply no excuse to buy that other crap.

2012-01-31 06:55:06 PM
Keystone is literally defective Coors Light? Wow, you learn something new every day. I think the only time I've ever bought that was when my underage cousin wanted something to fark up himself and his friends when he was in his first year of college, so I took their money and bought them a suitcase. I will drink Coors Light, though, if it's on tap and on sale. I've had worse.

I like Spaten Optimator or Schneider Aventinus

fark your shiatty cheap nasty beer~

/Such as Schaffers - omg wtf why God....why do you punish folks with that crap?
//I can drink Rolling Rock or Oly, but Oly is not even made in Washington anymore, but Riverside, Ca. - ewwwWwww

2012-01-31 06:56:07 PM
After 25 is when I'm finally drunk enough to consider drinking those.

2012-01-31 06:56:13 PM
Wow, fascinating headline. That article is just screaming to be read. Or not.

2012-01-31 06:56:32 PM
Malty, yellow, American lager is all the same thing. I don't care for it, but shiat now, don't act like any of these beers are inferior to any other malty, yellow, lager.

That is what we in Canada call "a filthy lie."

This is a good Canadian beer:
