It's good advice. We all know what happened to Tinky Winky after he was exposed by Falwell.

I'm glad he played along. I was half expecting him to go FR on them.

Meh. What's he going to do? Pressure conservative leaders to strip PBS of its funding?

You are one sick f*ck, you know that? I'm embarassed even to be visiting the same site as you, let alone read something you wrote here, then download it and bookmark it so I can use it later.

That was his point. They just played Kermit and Piggy's potshot at fox news, and a good-natured "they'd better watch it." He didn't go into classic O'Reilly form.

Fox News talking heads are a bunch of puppets anyway, so what's the deal?

2012-01-31 02:19:11 PM
And here I thought the Republicans would want to preserve what little dignity they have left in the face of debate-a-palooza.

Shh. Nobody tell Fox News about Bert and Ernie.

A Liberal agenda? Of what teaching our kids letters and numbers and doing it in a way that makes them want to learn? I can see how that can be dangerous to a religious Conservative.

You also forgot that they teach kids they should share, treat others with kindness and respect, and help others. Those sorts of teachings are anathema to them.

Fox Business was super butthurt with the new Muppets movie portraying an oil executive as being the villian.

Education is liberal brainwashing! Knowing things and having the ability to engage in advanced, synthetic thought is threatening to rightist interests that need a population of unthinking automatons.

My God it's worse than I thought! Break out the torches, we need to stop these monsters before our kids start asking questions and get jobs as scientists!

The only way I can describe anybody working at Fox News is this: they were the kids who watched The Lorax and thought "I want to be the Onceler!"

They did the same crap with Wall-E, because in their eyes, it showed that consumerism and as a result capitalism as a bad thing. And the same thing with Avatar, which sucked for better reasons than that.

Never mind the fact that the point of it was to show that there should be limits to how much we really need and how much we consume.

These tards need to get a life.

Muppets on the "Reality Check" segment? Maybe I should explore the Republican real world a bit more. If Muppets are real there, it could be a better place than I thought.

Having not seen the movie but knowing Sam the Eagle from his beginning it wouldn't surprise me. He has been a Conservative since the beginning.

Wasn't there an 'immediate ban' rule in place for anything and everything that even resembled the infamous picture? I've seen this one several times on Fark now, does that mean we can get the ASCII art out, too?

Fark, I remember that. "Mr. Rogers was an evil man". One of the only times in my life I wished that the hardcore Christians were right and there really was an angry, vengeful god out there because those idiots would have been struck stone dead.

I can't load it either, and I just assumed it was continued outrage at the Muppet Movie's decision to make the villain a job-creatin' Texan oilman.

No doubt he's trying to make light of the situation, but fact is, Fox was serious about the muppets. It's only after being ridiculed by the world that they're now making light of it.
