Why the fark has no one greenlighted the "Redknapp taking a bung" stories yet? I've been waiting to have an in-depth discussion on what "taking a bung" really means and why British news outlets insist upon using such an obscure colloquialism rather than say "he took kickbacks" or something. I think it's just an excuse to irritate the overseas viewers AND IT'S WORKING.
Seriously..."taking a bung" sounds proper?

QPR made a bid for Zamora. Don't know if FFC will accept it or not, but if they do he has got tot be replaced. I know Cole from West Ham has been talked about earlier, but Lucas Barrios rumors have been gaining steam.
Also, the Sky Sports chick is hawt.

Ravel Morrison is a silly, silly boy. Which is the polite way of saying he's a c*nt who's throwing it all away.
United are meant to be signing Frederic Veseli from City's Elite Development Squad. Swiss defender. Heard he's brilliant. Also heard he's not good. We already have millions of defenders in the reserves anyway. Meh.
Saha to Spurs is just odd.
As for the game, Twitter tells me Amos, Kuszczak, Rio, Will Keane and Pogba are in the squad. De Gea, Jones, Rooney, Nani, Young and Anderson are out.

I would put that a close second. At least AA23 has made some historic contributions. Squiz's departure simply leaves one less goat on the team. And there are rumblings of a Vertonghen-type replacement..

I'll take Defoe. Though if I was in charge, I'd be sending 10 armored trucks full of cash to Fulham trying to get Clint Dempsey to Anfield. Him and a rested Saurez, plus Gerrard and Bellamy when he's available would scare the shiat out of every defender.
/But Fulham won't give Dempsey up right now.

? Dempsey has scored in two World Cups, a Confederations Cup, Europa League, etc. He's one of only four players (along with Rooney, Lampard, and RVP) to score at least 6 goals in each of the last 5 years of the EPL. He is a bad, bad man.

From football365's transfer day tracker:
17.58: Not really transfer news, and in a move in no way designed to bury news on deadline day, Chelsea have announced that they only lost £67.7million last year.
So basically, if they hadn't spunked £75million-odd on Fernando Torres and David Luiz, they would've made a pleasant profit? Blimey.

Uhhh... so? One world cup goal was a fluke. He's also lucky to be in two World Cups and a confederations cup, owing to a weak confederation. He's had a very nice, long (relatively) career at Fulham. But being a US and Fulham star does not mean he's a player capable of boosting Liverpool into the top four. I watch nearly every Fulham match, I can see ever flaw he has. He takes dumb shots. He is a REALLY weak shooter. The fact that he leads Fulham in scoring owes more to the flaws Fulham has in attack. FFC and the USMNT operates best with Dempsey playing withdrawn behind an on-form striker.
Look at Andy Carroll. prolific goalscorer at Newcastle, bogus at Liverpool. He's taller and more athletic than Dempsey. And he's a true striker! The top-6 is a different game.
Now, I'm a USMNT fan before an FFC fan, seeing Clint Dempsey succeed on a Champion's League side would make me very, very happy. But just as it would have been a bad idea for Landy to go to Man City, it would be a bad idea for Dempsey to go to Liverpool.

A kickback is just as an obsure colloquialism as a bung is, its just that its your obscure colloquialism. British people who read American news sites have to put up with the differences between American English and English so take a chill pill.

I hate to rain on your parade but Liverpool isn't exactly a top club like Man U/City or Chelski any more either.
The problem with Carroll is Liverpool are not set up for his style as a striker. Newcastle was almost built around him and thats why he kept on banging in the goals but who exactly is supplying Carroll with the crosses he needs? Bellamy doesn't play enough, Downing is a real dissapointment and Gerrard is only starting to get back after injury. Christian Ronaldo mk2 gets the goals because he goes into midfeild to get the ball and then runs at defenders. Carroll is much more of a penalty area striker and needs people to feed him. If Carroll was playing in Arsenel or the Manchesters the he would get the service he needs and he will get the goals.
It reminds me of Andy Coal when he went to Man U. At the time of the move he was a goal line poacher and it took him two seasons to rebuild his game into the style Fergason wanted. When he did and got together with Yorke they detroyed teams.

I cannot accurately explain how often Dempsey ruins possession with an atrocious shot from outside the box.
Dribble right, dribble right...shoot back left... weak shot dribbles into the keepers hands or misses wide left. It's called The Clint Dempsey Off-Balance Shot From Thirty Yards Away That Has No Chance Of Going In Unless Rob Green Is The Keeper

Well, what's the old adage about luck? The harder one works the luckier they get. Robert Green definitely made a mess of Dempsey's knuckleball but Clint still turned Gerrard around like a top to get the shot off. He made him look silly to be honest.
I'll have to agree with you in that I don't think that Liverpool would necessarily be a good fit for Dempsey but I think that it's asinine to suggest that Dempsey couldn't be useful for a bigger club. Carroll had an amazing year and a half at Newcastle, no doubt. But his 35 million pound price tag carries a heavy burden. I don't see how the fact that Dempsey scores as often as he does being utilized at LM or the federation that his national team plays in can be used to somehow detract his play. He's scored against the Juventus and Spain in meaningful games. He can play up top, behind the forwards and on the wings.
He can be bought by a bigger club for (relatively) peanuts, and he will make the manager that does look like a genius.
But that's just like, my opinion, man.

when you don't want something to leak, you plug it with a bung. Therefore, you give someone some cash to a) sign your shiatty player and b) stop them from speaking up about it.
And my favourite Harry Redknapp story (possibly bullshiat though): he once wanted to sign a player who just happened to be flying to England to sign for another team on a free. He simply drove to the airport, found the player, drove him to his house and basically convinced him to sign/kidnapped him until he agreed to sign
