So he was a community activist, he was almost certainly in the middle of some kind of activist project when he died, he was almost certainly murdered, yet no article I have read on this mentions what he was working on at the time, just that he was holding a meeting then vanished.

Wait so the two competitng theories on this are:

1.) He was doing an activist thingy that pissed someone off, either a drug dealer or business/political interest, and they had him killed. This is backed up by someone posting an anonymous tip, the cops saying they have numerous leads and the fact that he was having meetings for some project when he died.

vs

2.) Random homicide / burglary, which fits into the part about some random guy being seen using his ATM card shortly after the murder.

Does anybody know what percent of robberies end in homicide or have the figure for that?

I grew up in PG County and 4 years ago when I was back down in Maryland I couldn't take my daughter into the hood I grew up in because I feared for her safety. White people don't belong in some parts of PG County but it is nice to see it has not changed much since the 70's.

The news is always filled with police offIcer got shot or plumber got carjacked or college professor faked racial graffiti. So community activist must've been his job. I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps the police think it's relevant to the case and are keeping mum about it.
