Hello FWC! Welcome to your post-RR RAW thread!

I managed to survive my first live WWE event, and what a night it was! FWC was proudly represented by myself and Fendurr. Speaking of FWC, you guys did an awesome job on last night's thread. Awesome stuff! Also, thanks to DougieAXP and others for looking out for my signs! :)

I'll post pics soon, but in the meantime, here's some extended thoughts/notes from the show:

Crowd
If the show wasn't a sellout, it was damn close. Seats were taken all the way up to the nose-bleeds in Scottrade. A good mix of marks and smarks, but very loud and responsive through most of the night. Lots of chants all through the show, some obviously smark driven, some not. Overall, the STL crowd was great, and I think the WWE front office will be looking for more stops in STL in the future.

Dark Match
Pre-show dark match was Yoshi vs. Heath Slater (who I failed to identify at first b/c I was still trying to get to my seat). Yoshi won in 3-4 minutes.

DB/Show/Mizark
-Big Show is even bigger in real life than on TV. The man is huge! Great pop from the crowd when he appeared too.
-Loads of boos for both DB and Mizark when they came out. After the match started, a couple of DB chants got started, which was odd since they were just booing him. I'm assuming the smarks got that going.
-They may not have made TV, but a few sexual chocolate chants went around the arena. Best part was hearing the kids asking what that was all about. XD
-I agree that the ending was probably botched, as Show's reaction suggested he was expecting DB to get back in the ring somehow. On the other hand, the 'botch' could have been called for, as Mizark was clearly limping from our vantage point.
-DB got good heat after the match just for winning.

Cena Promo
Lots of boos when the promo started, but fans quieted down as many headed for a piss break. Promo seemed to run long...maybe they were scrambling to get the Divas match setup?

Divas Match
-Divas match was very bland, though KK's acrobatics got a good reaction from the crowd. KK was also the only diva to get a good crowd reaction.
-For all of the KK fans here, I snagged a couple of good pictures of her. See below to start tripping balls! :D
-Match seemed haphazard though. Seemed rushed at the start, then drug on past a couple of points where I figured they'd end it. IMO, reinforces the need to fill time b/c DB's match was botched.

Rock Promo
Mad cheers for Rock when the promo started. Was really cool to hear the old school fans roar when they showed Rock's dad from back in the day.

Cena/Kane
-If they tried piping in cheers for Cena, no one heard them over the massive heat from the crowd. My friend (whose only a casual WW fan but came along for the hell of it) commented that the only time he's heard louder boos is when the BlackHawks come to play the Blues.
-No shirts thrown back this time
-Pretty good heat for Kane too, but not nearly as loud as Cena
-WWE is trying to build Kane as a super-heel, but if you only watched this one match, you'd think Cena was the heel. Crowd got a good "boo/yea" chant going as the two traded blows, and was pro-Kane the whole way.
-Epic Cena Sucks chants from all corners of the arena. STL is definitely not Cena country, lol.
-Dusty finish did not surprise me in the least. Poor Ryder though. :(
-Speaking of Ryder, the "EMTs" they brought out are either bad at their jobs or bad actors. After putting a guy on a gurney, you don't spin him around and slide him across the ring!

Punk/Zigs
-Loud heat for Zigs, but really massive heat for Vickie and Johnny Ace.
-Heard a couple of "1987!" chants from the crowd. I'm assuming a reference to Johnny's debut in WWE?
-HUGE pop for Punk. Crowd was loving every second of it.
-Punk and Zig put on a damn good match. Maybe not their best ever, but lots of great wrestling from both of them. Savage elbow got most of the crowd to mark out - even heard a few "OH YEAH!" chants when Punk jumped.
-Punk mocking Zig's show off shtick went over very well.
-They played the match very well. Crowd really thought Punk was farked on multiple spots.
-Zigs can sell a GTS like nobody else. Cena should be taking notes here. ;)

Funkasaurus/McIntyre
-Crowd reaction for Clay was a big "meh"....until he started shaking his flab, then it went from "meh" to "eye bleach, stat!".
-Jesus, Clay can't wrestle at all. All he did was hit McIntyre with his gut and stick his tongue out.
-Obvious squash match = piss break
-More Clay dancing = stick your face in the funnel cake fryer and hope for the best.
-Crowd was very close to booing him. WWE Creative needs to change him up quickly, or Clay will be done for as a credible talent.

Rumble
-Lots of heat for Miz. good "Awful!" response too!
-Miz cut a decent promo, but not his best stuff
-Huge pop for Truth. Lots of "QUACK!" and "Little Jimmy!" chants from the back and higher seats. Don't know if they made TV though.
-Epico & Primo in RR = meh. No Rosa Mendes = FAIL
-Gabriel did surprisingly well; figured he'd be out in less than a minute.
-Huge pop for Foley! Tons of "Foley!" chants
-Sock standoff was awesome! Crowd loved it!
-Crowd totally got trolled on the Del Rio entrance. IMO, I thought Del Rio may be the "comeback" guy this year. But, then I saw the Datsun and quickly figured it out, lol. Epic troll was epic!
-Great pop from crowd for both Lawler and Booker. STL definitely was digging it, with extra loud "Booker T" chants
-Kofi's handstand was awesome! Crowd loved it!
-Booker and Lawler pulling Cole out of the RR was much appreciated by the crowd. Lots of STFU Cole's yelled out. :D
-BAH GAWD KING, THAT'S HACKSAW!!!!1111 Robsul82 nailed it - the whole arena jumped back to the 1980s when his music hit.
-Kharma! Damn, she's scary. Again, Zigs is really good at selling. Cena better be taking notes!
-HOLY CR@P ROAD DOGG!!!! I am not kidding you, the place went berserk! DX chants breaking out all over my section, but you couldn't hear them over the cheers when his music hit. At least from my seat, he may have gotten the biggest pop of the entire night. For me, a huge mark for DX in the 90s, this was my best moment of the night. And if you're not down with that, we got two words for ya! :D
-Orton got some love from his hometown crowd. Good to see.
-Huge pop for Y2J. Too bad he didn't wear the light up jacket though
-Finally, a lot of shocked people to see Sheamus win. Great crowd reaction of course, but I think a lot of folks assumed Y2J would win it all. Will be an interesting WM!

Most of the marks are the younger kids. I think their parents just let them go along like that for a while...let them figure it out as they grow up. :)

I'll be on tonight, but I'm a bit pissed. I know they're going to make Cena fight, after less than a full day of recovery from fighting Kane. Sh*t, the NFL has 2 weeks to recover before the Superbowl, and they wear pads.
