True, and Taker/HBK 2 couldn't measure up to the first even with the career vs streak angle.

The only match I can think of that's in the same league as the two Taker/HBK matches would be Ricky Steamboat/Randy Savage at Wrestlemania III. They were just that good.

The angle, and I can't believe I'm the first to call it, is that Hunter is going to play the patronizing/cowardly heel, with Taker as the old, battered, but still game warrior, out for one last, great battle. They go back and forth via promos for about a month, then someone calls Shawn. Shawn gets involved, I am still torn as to whose side he appears on, or if he shows up as a tweener, with respect for both, but loyalty to neither. He manages to convince Hunter that it is in his best interest to accept the challenge, for one. last. match. The stage is set. WrestleMania lights await!

/I *will* be buying 'Mania this year. For that match alone, if nothing else.

There were rumors I read during the fall saying it would be HHH/Taker with HBK has the guest ref. Your theory would play into that idea.
