How many feet in shoes are they up to now? Seems like one washes up in BC every couple of months.

It couldn't be a serial killer. That would be like 23-47 missing persons. In this day and age it is really hard to get those kind of numbers for long. The most likely culprit is a mortician. Most of the prepared cadavers are only shown from the chest up. This sicko is probably hacking off feet for a perverse sexual thrill and then dumping them in either a small outlet (off say a bridge) or a pier.

Here's what I don't get about missed kicks (and as a FSU alumnus I've seen a few) Why does one kicker get so much blame given that if the rest of the team did their jobs they wouldn't have needed the kicker anyway? What about the dude the dropped the pass in the end zone? What about the QB for not finishing the drive with a TD? Just curious I guess. If the kicker is that much more important maybe he should be making more than the QB.
Just wondering.

This is Vancouver---Willie Pickton almost got away with murdering 60 women. Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? No. But these feet aren't the work of a serial killer or mortician; I saw a documentary on NatGeo, which attributed the BC Feet to bodies in the water decomposing and the feet breaking off. The seemingly large number is due to the publicity they've been getting---now everyone's looking for severed feet on the beach.

It's not a serial killer, it's most likely mob slayings.
Organized crime is big in Vancouver, especially east asian gangs. The good news is they don't bother the local folk much. They only attack each other.

People drown. Planes crash. It could've been recent or years ago---the cool water slows decomposition. In optimal conditions a human body can remain intact in water for 30 years.

I don't get your logic. Just because "everyone's looking for severed feet on the beach" now doesn't mean that they are going to find them - but they are. I can go to a beach and look for severed feet all day, but I'm probably not going to find one. It's not like severed feet are a normal thing to find on a beach (outside of, say, Mexico). Are you saying that it's not a serial killer if no one finds the feet?
And the "seemingly large number" due to "publicity?"
Seriously?
No, dude, it's not publicity.. The large number of severed feet is due solely (pun intended) to the LARGE NUMBER OF SEVERED FEET.

tsunami.

Most of the feet are found in sneakers. Sneakers/ athletic shoes are very buoyant. I'm betting that many of these bodies are suicides and years later, the leg rots away and the sneaker - with the foot still inside - pops up and floats ashore.

Everyone attributing this to natural means has yet to explain why they only seem to pop up in Vancouver. Am I just missing the news for the entire west coast? I'd love to hear those statistics. Perhaps they're the same. But if they're not, why not?

Because they are feet. If they were nuts, it would be a bigger story. If men's testicles were washing ashore in Vancouver it would be a massive story. We know that there are no men with any balls in Vancouver so they would obviously be outsiders.

The feet started showing up after the tsunami started near Banda Aceh of 2004. It has been one of the best theories, as many of the athletic sneakers were only sold in SE Asia.
