The NBA needs to implement an "abandon season" button - that way teams tanking it could just hit the button, not travel, not play and automatically forfeit the remainder of their games.

The race to the ping-pong-balls parade is going to be an annual event - might as well formalize it.

So are the players tanking just to help Dwight get sent to a real team? Maybe setting up a 3 team trade with New Orleans so they can get a quality center(and expiring contract) in return(unless it's the the Lakers, who will trade Bynum and/or Pau)?

Objectively, He really should be looking at the smaller market teams in general.

As much as I actually love the idea of Dwight in Minnesota with Love and Rubio, it's going to take a lot more than that to get him in a trade.

The only team in full tank mode right now is the Charlotte Bobcats. When you start Tyrus Thomas at the 3, let Diop sniff the court, or start Matt Carroll, you're just not trying anymore. Yes, I realize there are injuries to Henderson & both DJs but starting Diop over a Kwame Brown fathead is a mistake that should lead to the automatic termination of the entire coaching staff.

Man I would LOVE an MLB team here. Sacramento is a perfect baseball town. If it wasn't for the Kings I'd never, ever watch NBA.

Do you think that area can support it, though? Kinda far from other big cities(Stockton, Fairfield, Tracy, Modesto, etc) for the number of games an MLB team has and the fact that the stadium capacity is generally at least double an NBA arena.

If Howard signs/agrees-to-a-trade with any team that does NOT have a top 5 passing PG then he's a fool. Put on top of THAT the want to win now and his options are limited.
