That's a gorgeous dog. That face is so cute! Kinda makes me wonder if my black lab/german shepherd mixed puppy has a little doberman in him. Might explain why he's so lanky, and is so built for speed. The face on that dog reminds me a lot of my dog's face.

Hmmnnn... Gonna have to get him genotyped soon. I've been meaning to do it since we got him.

In all honesty, that was a pretty cool dog.

Also, I have to add that any trainer that can get a Jack Russel Terrier to focus on a simple task for more than six seconds deserves a Goddamned trophy.

I saw one promo for this movie, and it involved a horribly-done CGI clockwork mouse toy. I was so disappointed that they couldn't even do something so simple without CGI that I vowed to never watch the film.

One vow at a time, I'm a simple man.

I could see them having special awards for animal actors, but half the time it is going to be a fairly trivial award. Putting them in for mainstream awards isn't going to be popular - what does it say about most actors if 99% of them do a worse job than a dog/cat/horse/whatever?

That's a shame because the rest of the movie is some of the most stunning CGI I've ever seen.

Hugo is really one movie worth seeing in 3D. I never thought Scorcese could do a movie without having a body count or having the Mafia involved.

I didn't catch the first 15 minutes or so, and was dissapoint when there was no Fark thread to be found for it. Seriously, did you see what Sofia Vergara was wearing? Truly, I thought her dresser skipped the double-stick tape the way she was bouncing.
