Oh there they go. There they go, every time I start talkin 'bout boxing, a white man got to pull Rocky Marciano out their ass. That's their one, that's their one. Rocky Marciano. Rocky Marciano. Let me tell you something once and for all. Rocky Marciano was good, but compared to Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano ain't shiat.

Remember, before Eddie got caught with the transsexual hooker, when he made funny movies that weren't all family friendly and shiat? That was a golden era, Richard Marx on the radio, Zubaz pants for everyone.

He says: Taste the soup. He says: Is there something wrong with the soup? Is the soup too hot? He says: Will you taste the soup? What's wrong, is the soup too cold? Will you just taste the soup?! Allright, I'll taste the soup - where's the spoon?? Aha. Aha! ...

He made so many classics, he is obviously capable of better than the shiat he's been turning out. I think the last Eddie Murphy movie I enjoyed was Bowfinger.

Wow, how has this not turned into a beer snob thread yet?

Speaking of that, has anyone ever been to a World of Beer franchise? Milwaukee is getting one soon, I'm wondering if its worth being excited about. There are already so many options for great beer, not sure if we need another.

And this . . .

Foothills is good stuff, and has a cult following here - but it definitely is over-hyped. People will line up for anything if they know it is released in limited quantities.

One of the things I miss most about NC is the availability of beer. Sexual Chocolate and Hopslam are two of the best things I've ever tasted.

I have to agree. Foothills is good, but the best beer in Winston-Salem is to be had at Mellow Mushroom.

i think i had this beer for the first time about 6 years ago. It is still one of, if not my favorite beers out there. I keep wanting to go camp out for it, but something always comes up. I suppose there's always next year.

/Will be getting some on draft at the Saucer tonight!

Getting Dark Lord has gotten absolutely absurd. I love that beer. It's one of my top 3 ever. Even I refuse to go to Dark Lord Day since 2008 though. Sure lines were hours long then and I debated whether to bother for six 22 oz beers, but it was fun to talk to people and exchange samples of other beers while we waited. I went for 3 years running (2006 - 2008).

Then it got even more ridiculous with tickets you have to buy ahead of time just to get the privilege of standing in line so you can buy Dark Lord. From what I hear, it didn't really help with the wait times. It just made things cost more. At the 2011 Dark Lord, the tickets sold out online within moments of going on sale. Then they started showing up on e-bay. Fark that.

Then... not satisfied with only one giant cluster fark of an event each year, 3 Floyd's made 2011's anniversary release basically another Dark Lord day type event. Fark that.

I wonder if Oz Terry, Evan Ruff, and Stephen Arthur are beer drinkers? And more importantly, is that their profession?

I was actually trying to GIS a pic of Mark Henry with the "Chocolate" singlet, but the only ones I saw were ones where he was with Mae Young. I didn't want to make people lose their lunch, so...

FTFA:A large crowd gathered in North Carolina for a chance to buy a beer infused with chocolate.

"I am very warm in my coat. Had to skin a wookie to be here, it's basically a walking sleeping bag," said Oz Terry, a beer drinker.

Did anyone see any place in the article where the reporter said it was cold outside? Instead, this quote makes Oz Terry sound like a scary homeless guy.

Damn straight. Just because it's high IBUs doesn't mean you can skimp on the other aspects. It's like Steel Reserve but it costs 4 times as much.

The good ones don't skimp. A good double IPA has a lot of malt in it too. Otherwise it'd just taste like hop water. No one wants that. Sure it's a bitter beer, but in a good way.

Comparing hopped up craft beers to a malt liquor is just idiotic.

No. No it's not. I've had quite a few "craft" beers that were done horribly wrong.
