So, it looks like I might be going to Calgary in the near future.

Calgary? I bet Wil gets stuck in Regina.

I've been to Vulcan. It's not as exciting as one might think.

Alternate Universe. In the universe these characters exist in, Spock is missing, but Vulcan is still here.

Yes, I know. I was making what is referred to in the common parlance as, "AJOKE." You may need to recalibrate your sensors.

How did they reconcile all their separate busy schedules?

Actually, if you check Google maps, you'll find that Vulcan is only about an hour-and-three-quarters drive from Calgary.

Heisenberg Compensator.

I was thinking that I should bounce the graviton particle beam off the main deflector dish. that might work.

Don't forget to modulate the frequency, to make sure it goes through their shields.

If it's the Borg, I'm going to have to randomly recalibrate the beam every few seconds so they don't adapt.

Just be careful to not overload the system or else you could inadvertently cause a warp core breach

I'm thinking that an inverse tachyon pulse might do the trick.

If that doesn't work, you might need to recalibrate the Heisenberg compensators.

Don't forget to use an inverse tachyon beam to scan for the floating rabble of Space-Irish, or Cryogenically Frozen Stereotypes (CFStm).

Just pray they don't reverse the polarity on their shields.

That saves the day so often i'd just leave it reversed and give Geordi a break.

Not if you route it through the backup EPS grid.

How to invent cold fusion:

Step 1: Throw in Rick Sternbach and Michael Okuda to the cast above
Step 2: Insulate and reinforce convention room walls, ceiling, floor really well
Step 3: Harness energy from critical mass nerdilinger-cataclysmogasm
Step 4: Profit

He should just write a cron job to flip it every once in a while.
Also needs one to rotate the shield frequency.
and a perl script to make sure the holodeck hasn't become sentient.

$sentient = $holodeck->isSentient();
if sentient {
$holodeck->reboot();
}

and then run it as a cron job.

And set up a neutrino field to compensate for the excess energy output.

This is going to happen during the stampede, the polar opposite of geek. I hope the police have their riot gear ready because when these two crowds collide... boom. "And next up is nerd roping. We've just let a dork in Spock ears out of the gate and he's trying outrun Cooter here on horseback..."

I thought they can recrystallize dilithium in the 24th century? Plus my understanding is that if all else fails, you reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and charge it with a packet of energetic tachyons.

I love the idea of this but my first thought was "Needs Money Tour 2012".

What's a credit card? I did service pack upgrades on about 4000 blades for a Gen-7 computer core and all I got was a Federation Participation Ribbon and a Replicator Card with 5 holes punched.

And they kept bringing her back as her half Romulan daughter. What is this, a Back to the Future sequel? What kid looks exactly like their parent? Anyway, it's not like she was fired, she quit because she thought her character was lame. Every character was lame in the 1st season.

Meh, always liked her coming back as Sela. Thought that was fun in a cheesy way.

And although you're right about kids looking exactly like one of their parents, I know a few people, esp. daughters, that look 99% the same. It's freaky. And hot. Sometimes.
