Choosing Newt for the Republican Presidential nominee will annoy a liberal? In that he's fairing a lot poorer in polls against Obama? Really?

It's as if someone never pays attention to the world around her. Surely, with reading every daily newspaper available, she'd have picked up on just what is happening.

I guess her new book will be "Sarah Palin: Oblivious"

Fark you, I won't do what you tell me!

Just because "the establishment" despises him doesn't mean he isn't part of it.

Good old Sarah...celebrating flash over substance, relishing every opportunity she can stick it to someone, never interested in actually accomplishing anything. No wonder she supports Newt.

Once Santorum drops out on Wednesday morning it's Newt's race to lose.

2012-01-30 09:33:41 AM
"How can he say he's not part of the establishment?" Palin said. "Well, look at the players in the establishment who are fighting so hard against him. They want to crucify him because he has tapped into that average, everyday American tea party grassroots movement

Newt is the definition of Washington insider. Just when I think this broad can't get any dumber.

Outrageous Muff: Once Santorum drops out on Wednesday morning it's Newt's race to lose.

Newt better watch his step.

Um...

Voting for Newt doesn't exactly annoy liberals. It delights them.
Romney at least has a 'chance' at beating Obama, albeit not a very good one.
Voting for Newt hands the Dems another 4 years in the White House.

This comes from a very popular Alaskan bumper sticker several yeas ago.

Alaska has its own little Pat Robertson, a right-wing money-maker named Jerry Prevo. Years ago, when Prevo started getting too involved in Alaska politics, the bumper sticker and phrase, "Annoy Prevo, think for yourself" was a pre-internet meme there.

She just copied it from a bumper sticker, like everything else she says.

Wow, she really is laying the groundwork for a "Tea Party" ticket in the general election isn't she?

2012-01-30 09:53:47 AM
LOL. Yes, deary, he "annoys liberals". Indeed. That's why you should support him. Throw all of your support behind this fat load fine American.

I also have a great scheme, all you have to do it to recruit four other people to work for you after you work for me. I take a small cut of your earnings. You keep recruiting people. Does that work? Sign here!

Palin just wants Republicans to lose so she can be the nominee in 2016.

2012-01-30 09:54:11 AM
I'm starting to believe that Sarah Palin was sent by God to destroy the GOP.

2012-01-30 09:54:22 AM
For once, I agree whole-heartedly with Sarah Palin's choice - by all means, chuckleheads, please, ensure that Newt is the Presidential candidate. We're begging you. Newt is definitely your ideal choice, and far be it from us to stand in the way of you pushing him into the Presidential election.

We'll watch as Newt is handed his whiny, cheating, lying, racist ass during the election.

C'mon, chuckleheads, do it - Ann Coulter 2.0 commands you!

This is the same Sarah Palin who was traveling to Washington to whore for oil subsidies since she was mayor of Wasilla -- a real outsider, just like Newt!

not just that, but he'll surely manage to alienate moderates and independents enough to affect the congressional races...he'll damage the R brand all around.

good call Palin, with insights like this I can't believe her and Todd aren't doing any reality shows currently.

Just a reminder to Arizonans, if you want, you've got until Midnight to switch your registration to Republican so you can vote in the Primary.

Throw that vote to Newt or Paul or The Lizard People. Have fun with it. Throw some glitter on it and go dancing!

Isn't Palin the Tea Party mascot? Gingrich is about as far removed from the Tea Party ideals as you're likely to find in a conservative. That he is even running as an outsider takes bigger balls than any of us have, or at least a worrying amount of self-delusion (not necessarily more than any of us have).

Also, if you're supporting a politician to annoy some other faction, you either need to grow up or re-examine your core values. But, hey, if it means nominating a man who has zero chance in the general election, annoy away. I somehow doubt partisan Democrats will be too upset.

FTFA: "We need somebody who is engaged in sudden and relentless reform and is not afraid to shake up the establishment. So, if for no other reason, rage against the machine, vote for Newt, annoy a liberal, vote Newt, keep this vetting process going, keep the debate going."

See, this is the reason why I despise politics in general (and the right is clearly worse about this crap). It's not about doing what's right. It's about pissing off the other side. Go team!

You know what really annoys me, as a hard core liberal? Equitable treatment of people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or financial standing.

Seriously, what the hell is up with those people? Thinking they're equal to me in the eyes of government. Man, that annoys me to no end. Really...very, very annoying. Like "fingernails on chalkboard" annoying.

Too true. Everytime I hear him rail against "Washington Insiders" it makes me crack up. "Nevermind that I was in congress from Reagan to Clinton, during which I was the Speaker of the Farking House for a time. Not to mention don't worry about the rest of congress kicking me out for being TOO corrupt and after my disgraceful booting I proceeded to be a lobbyist, but not in an absolutely technical sense." Man has a 30 year track record of being a cog in the Washington Machine. He makes all his current money from helping others grease the wheels of said machine and other political activites, yet somehow in his mind he came up with the idea of running as the "Not DC" candidate. Absolutely bloody hysterical. His car should have truck nuts.

This is also coming from a self-appointed representative of a movement that believes that McCain lost because he wasn't conservative enough There's really not a lot of thought going into anything she spews out of her mouth.

She's such a tease.

Im rolling down Wassila with a shot gun. These people ain't seen a mavrick since they watched Top Gun.

Palin explained that despite criticisms of Gingrich's long career in Washington, D.C., she doesn't consider him [Former speaker of the House and 3rd in line to the presidency] part of the establishment because that same "establishment" is trying to hard to keep him from becoming the nominee.

average, everyday American tea party grassroots movement

Was this sentence fragment written by a person or a search engine optimization company?

I too would blame the liberals from preventing Newt Gingrich from being the nominee for the Republican Party if I smoked crack from a shotgun

Wow, her voice and inflections are annoying. She weirdly stresses words and phrases as if she is starting a new thought mid sentence.

That's right conservatives.

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious-makes you so sick at heart-that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all."

2012-01-30 10:18:38 AM
As a liberal, allow me also to say please, please annoy me. No really; there is nothing that would get my goat more than you voting for Newt. Will I have a goat after you vote for Newt? No, because you will have gotten it. I will be left thinking up some non-violent, community-centric means to get it back, perhaps one involving a drum circle.

2012-01-30 10:18:43 AM
When I want to hear from a complete failure at life, I'll head down to the bus station and share a pint of squeeze with a bum and glean more from life than this twat has to offer.

This just in: showing clips of Newt talking is now "both parties' machines are trying to crucify Newt."

2012-01-30 10:22:34 AM
voting for a candidate solely because he pisses off the opposition is a sound political strategy.

Pff. Forget his car; NEWT should have to walk around with a pair of truck nuts dangling from the front of his belt. It takes huge, awkward, garish metal balls to ask the electorate to believe him when he says he merely acted as a "historian" for his consulting gig, and not as a lobbyist.

Heron: As a liberal, allow me also to say please, please annoy me. No really; there is nothing that would get my goat more than you voting for Newt. Will I have a goat after you vote for Newt? No, because you will have gotten it. I will be left thinking up some non-violent, community-centric means to get it back, perhaps one involving a drum circle.

I don't think I can recover from the strain of the annoyance I will feel as a liberal if the GOP goes for Newt. I'm pretty sure I would never vote again, staying home, dejected.

I'm so scared they might figure this out, or the fact that a Newt-Palin ticket would win and they'll run that. Then we'll have to cry in our arugula.
