Help me out here.

TFA says that the market value is 2.4 million.

Yet he's asking 4 million, marked down from 9.

Am I missing something?

Sure, but at 2.4 million dollars, does that really add to the price of the house?

I'm sure that many of those estates are owned by celebrities.

No, but it is Certified Organic, Free Range, Cruelty Free, with a Green Technology housing unit. And at a Fair Trade price as well.

I live right down the street from his house, it's a pretty impressive spread of land.

It's the long driveway on the top with the brown roofed houses (new window)

The funny thing is if you look across the intracostal at the house with the golf course, that's Tiger's house. Link (new window)

For just a few more million than market value, you can sit on your balcony and watch Tiger's huge slut orgy parties with a telescope.

If it had a poorly maintained fireplace it might be a bit smokey. Of course if you don't mind the smell you could make out like a bandit.

I never quite understand why these Hollywood types cant seem to handle their money.

"The waterfront five-bedroom home of actor Burt Reynolds... on which foreclosure proceedings began in August...

Reynolds, the Emmy Award-winning actor who graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1954, bought the home in 1980 for $700,000, according to Martin County records."

You mean to tell me, in 30 years with all the money he's made, he couldn't scratch together enough to pay off that mortgage?

If I won the lottery I would buy it tue next week, the caveat would be I have to meet the Bandit!

That movie is the greatest southern cheese movie of all time.

Too bad jackie Gleason is dead:
" There's no way,*no* way that you came from *my* loins. Soon as I get home, first thing I'm gonna do is punch yo mamma in da mouth!"

One of the greatest lines ever.

My guess is he took out other loans against the house as it rose in value then the market tanked and the home was worth shiat.

That's pretty much my thinking. Still he needs to bring the price down more if he really wants to sell it. I don't care who the fark owned the house before me I'm not paying twice the market value. That's just being stupid with your money. I wouldn't even pay twice if he lived in the house with me.

I would pay triple if he lived there and stayed in his boogie nights persona for half the year then the bandit for the other half.

one might think he'd be more tired of being an out of work loser with a face that looks like a canned ham used to put out garbage fires...

this may or may not be a surprise to anyone, but apparently his face is made out of old tires...from WW2 planes...

he and Demi BOX OFFICE GOLD Moore should shack up and kick out a few little box headed kids.

Personally, I wish Burt the absolute best and hope he is happy and doing well.

The guy is a farking legend - the model of testosterone at it's best, he had the style, the attitude, the look,... and he was very loyal to his friends, had/has a great sense of humor... God bless you Burt, I'd love nothing more than to buy you a big steak dinner and all the beer he wanted if he'd just regale me with tales of his prowess...

Foreclosure proceedings were filed in August after BankAtlantic and Great Eastern Mortgage filed papers alleging Reynolds has not made a mortgage payment since Sept. 1, 2010.

Yet he's still living there almost a year and a half later?
